We spent two nights and never saw anyone who ever engaged us or checked on us. The only person working at the inn we saw was a woman who dropped off our breakfast tray on the patio who scurried away before we were able to talk to her.
No coffee cups for the coffee maker in the room. No personal notes, no greetings, nothing. For 600/night I expected more. We were in the honeymoon suite and if it had been my honeymoon, I would have been gravely disappointed. Nothing special about this suite. There are 4 doors that lead outdoors that were unlocked upon arrival. Also there is a door in the living room that led to the kitchen/office that was unlocked. It was very disappointing. Think bad duplex that isn't laid out correctly.
I understand with covid people are being careful but this is unacceptable.
Breakfast each day was ok but there are no choices for what is being served. No refills on coffee, no juice, no pastries. A basic egg dish and a bowl of yogurt with fruit. There is nothing gourmet about this breakfast. Was very poor in execution. Breakfast wasn't until 0830 when coffee was delivered. The egg dish arrived by 920. This is ridiculous for anyone who needed an early start. No offer for a to go breakfast.
There was a firepit outdoors with no chairs available. The common outdoor patio had no seating at all. We had two uncomfortable chairs on a semi private patio that faced a gazebo that was available for all the guests. Once again, glad we weren't really honeymooners.
Finally time to check out after our 0930 breakfast, the main area doors to the office and common area were locked. We had to go back into our room and knock on the door between our room and the kitchen/office to hand someone our key. Just ridiculous.
Stay anywhere else in Sedona. Not sure if this place has changed hands or what but we felt conned and duped by all of the good reviews. Maybe we have higher expectations but we felt this place was a waste of our money and...

My brother and I chipped in to have our parents stay here for their 50th wedding anniversary at the end of August. They had quite the terrible experience.
To start things off, I get a call the day before telling me that the TV didn't work in the Honeymoon suite and they suggested we move rooms. My parents, who are in their 70's, tend to watch a lot of TV...so we moved them.
Then comes the first night. The TOILET doesn't work in their room! They end up telling the staff in the morning and the staff attempts to fix the toilet but doesn't. They give my parents access to the lobby bathroom for the night which involves walking out and around the property and into the lobby...in the dark...and it also happened to pour that night...and it involved a few stairs which were not good for my parent's knees.
The second night, the toilet still not working, pouring outside, and my old parents have bladder issues (like many old folks do). They end up completely and utterly embarrassing "going in cups" inside the room. Absolutely horrifying for a 50th wedding anniversary.
So again... -My parents are in their 70's. -Switched rooms last minute because original room's TV didn't work. -Toilet broken. -Giving them access to the lobby did nothing for them as they have a hard time getting up and down the stairs. -Going up and down the stairs to the lobby in the middle of the night while it's raining is not acceptable for a $400/night stay. -My parents have bladder issues, meaning they have to go to the bathroom every couple of hours. -TMI, but my parents ended up using "cups" in the bathroom to empty their bladders while the toilet was down for their stay.
Not only is this embarrassing, I've never heard of such a scenario at any hotel in my life...and I have worked in the business for years. The hotel gave them (me) a 15% discount and never responded to my email regarding the matter. This should be a 100% refund, automatically and I expect a...
Read moreI made a reservation 3 months ago for the Honeymoon Suite. It is a large suite (like a condo!) with a sitting room, large wooden table and chairs for breakfast and fireplace with tv, large bathroom with jacuzzi tub and double sinks, another bathroom with a sink and toilet and a large bedroom with another tv. Each room goes to the back porch and views of the creek. I was so excited! The day we were to check in, Amy called and said the fireplace was not working, she didn’t want us to be cold, so she was upgrading us to her favorite room. We agreed. When we arrived, the Rose Quartz room was TINY (about 350 sq ft). There was a toilet and shower in the bathroom, the rest in one large room: A small sink and vanity, claw foot tub in the bedroom. The door was right by the bed (very cold) and a small plastic table and chairs to eat breakfast on. The view was of the house next door, but we had to keep the curtains shut because it was like having a bedroom door open. I was very upset and called Amy. I said the room was nothing like I reserved. For $772, I was very disappointed. She said she would call me back. She texted and said we could move to the Honeymoon Suite for our second night. The suite was lovely. When I looked at the guest book, I saw a couple had signed the book from the first night we were supposed to be there. I don’t know what happened, but I felt lied to and deceived. The suite was warmer than the Rose Quartz room, and the fireplace was in the sitting room, not the bedroom. Amy was helpful and told us great places to shop and eat, but I don’t like deceit, so I would not...
