No hand soap in bathroom during a pandemic. No paper towels in kitchen and only two small rags to use for our 3 day stay. Hand towels had orange speckled spot stains on them. Rugs in bathroom visibly dirty- should have been tan but had so much dirt on them they were grey in the middle. Caulking peeling off the shower head system. Extra blankets in closet had strong odor and hairs on them, definitely not freshly washed. Construction from 6:50 am-6:30pm directly outside the walls/windows of our condo; J3. Our view of the mountain was obstructed by construction at the resort next door. No ac so in order to have any moving air you’d need those windows open and it was just construction trucks dumping, operating heavy machinery, drills and saws. At night it was all the construction workers who are working there partying, yelling and causing a loud inconvenience for us who were once again trying to relax & sleep while also having some fresh moving air on our Vacation. We were both woken up at 6:50am to construction trucks, cranes, and dump trucks just mere feet from our windows and also kept awake by the construction crew loitering and partying just feet from our window. One call to the front desk to Kim semi resolved the issue but regardless, this stay was NOT up to standard with the Hyatt experience. We were very frustrated and bothered by the noise- it was not an enjoyable experience to Hear construction and loud people around the clock when we were expecting a quiet and serene mountain getaway. More frustrating is it is currently 6 days passing since we checked out and ARE STILL AWAITING contact from the manager of the Hyatt Property so that we can address these major inconvenience and issues with the manager. We are completely unsatisfied and have lost our trust in Hyatt even after staying at properties worldwide with them....
Read moreTerrible, where do I even begin. Bring earplugs and your own lightbulbs. The unit we stayed in is dated and has those old yellow color lightbulbs your grandma’s house used to have. It’s very dim even with every single light bulb on. The shower is incredibly dark when you pull the curtain. Dust-bunnies in all of the corners and edges. The NOISE! If you have a unit above you oof good luck, the ceiling/flooring is so thin that you can hear people’s conversations, walking around, and the chairs in the kitchen area are incredibly loud when someone drags one. If the person in the unit above you has an alarm set for 4 o’clock in the morning , that means you also will have an alarm set for 4 o’clock in the morning. The hairdryer is tiny and falling apart, there is a larger hairdryer underneath the cabinet, but it’s broken. The bed is a king which is awesome but it’s incredibly firm and not comfortable and this is coming from someone that likes firm beds.
Pros: Their laundry machines are new commercial models and great! The proximity to the slopes and mall area is good.
Very disappointed with this Hyatt property, I’ve stayed at Laurelwood next-door for about the same price and they...
Read moreDon’t recommend. I paid $250/night for a room that wasn’t properly cleaned even. I found a hair in my bed the second night I was sleeping (and it’s not mine, I’m blonde with long hair), the fitted sheets were too small for the bed and kept snapping off all night, and there was trash on the floor. May not sound like a big deal but not if you’re staying at a place that charges this much. The place smelled like BO when I got in. Units have no AC and only one flimsy button lock on the front door, that doesn’t feel very safe. The closet door was broken as well. And to top it all off, the check out time is at 10 am and I had maid service banging on my door at 9 while I was still in bed resting after a long day of work. Take your money elsewhere, not...
