New Belgium Ranger Station — Restaurant in Snowmass Village

My family and I come here every year and it never disappoints. It's the best place on the mountain to grab a beer and lunch after a morning of skiing. The food is warm, hearty fuel to keep you going for the rest of the day and they have plenty of kid-friendly options. The beer selection always gets my pops excited but I always go for a hot toddy or a warm glass of their mulled wine.

Although the food is YUM, the best part about this place has got to be the view. The Ranger Station is literally ON the mountain and they have heated outdoor seating. Two years ago they started selling s'mores kits. This means you can sit by the fire out front, all cuddled up with a beer, while roasting a s'more and watching the ski lifts pass by.

What an amazing find in Snowmass Village! If you are anywhere close you have to check it out! We have been once (it was awesome then too!) a few years ago and as a big fans of Voodoo Ranger had this on my must do list for this year. The only day we could go was a Wednesday, of course we did not check to see that in the summer, Wednesday is a day off for the hard working staff. We happened to run into a Wendy, the owner who had only come by to put away a food order. She saw us peeking sadly in the windows and immediately opened the door, invited us in and served us some delicious beers !! She is really an incredible person, the food and beverage here is delicious but the service is the best!! Highly recommend!!!!...

Ranger Station is always a staple in my day when riding at Snowmass! It is the perfect ski-in ski-out stop to grab a bite and a delicious beer or warm mulled wine on the mountain. Their staff is always friendly, knowledgeable, and provides incredible service. I am honestly always amazed that despite how busy they are the bartenders and servers always take their time to make us feel welcome, make solid recommendations, and always make sure we have everything we need.
