Noodles and Company — Restaurant in South Jordan

I love the food from these restaurants but this location needs to seriously work on their customer service. This is my second time at this location on 12-15-18 at 8 pm and the same girl took my order both times and it seems very difficult for her, and both times she was coughing very bad which makes me feel like I don't want her touching my food or even getting me a cup. My husband and I ordered the same thing and when the food came out one was much bigger than the other. We also ordered and paid for a extra side of sauce and what they gave me was a small spoon full at the bottom of a decent sized container that wasn't even enough to pour out on my food. When I asked for more sauce because I wanted to get what I was paying for the girl asked if I wanted to pay for another one with attitude, I said no I want to get what I already paid for. Then the girl with purplish hair that was cooking was very rude and acted annoyed and said just so you know that's how much a side of sauce is and I will give it to you this time and this time only. (I've ordered a side of sauce from other Locations and got my dollars worth and told her that but she was rude) She then took her sweet time with what she was cleaning and didn't even bother to get me more sauce until she was done. Then scooped it and sat it on top of their counter while I continued to stand there and wait they wouldn't even bring it to me. They were out of forks and there was barely any salt. I had to reach around their counter to get my own cup. Every girl in there acted like they didn't want to be there and were annoyed to be making our food. Then while we are still eating and they aren't closed yet the girl that took the orders went outside and smoked and then came back in and stacked all the chairs on top of the tables, she smelled like smoke so bad she ruined the last bites of my dinner and made us feel like we were getting kicked out because all the chairs were put up except the ones we were sitting on. I will not be returning to this location, I will stick to Murray where everytime has been pleasant. I hope the owner of this location reads this and does something about the employees because your employees are your business period, they are the face of your company and right now your company...

This place is either great, okay, or terrible. Honestly, it depends on the day- how busy it is and who is working.

I’ve come times when it’s been super busy and emmaculately clean, kind and efficient and wonderful food and service. I love the Manager and Operators they are really amazing and when they are working try to make things right.

There are about 2 cashiers who are a bit particular about how you order, or what you order, and what they can order for you. Now I think this may be due to some special needs among them, I am not faukting anyone for this at all, please be kind and loving- or maybe just some specific charachter traits that need work.

One way you can work past this is mobile ordering.

Order on your phone or mobile device, ipad or whatever, or computer, and customize your order to your liking. You can add offers and coupons at the end of the order screen before you checkout. This way you get what you want, with the noodles or sauce or meat you want without the hassle of trying to explain it to someone who might not understand what you are saying, or how to do it.

Pickup ordering is usually the way to go for mobile ordering. You can load apple pay or your payment on the app on your mobile device if you wish.

I would reccommend always asking for large to go Water cups at the restauraunt while you wait as they are free and will help protect your mouth and throat from burns and damage.

The carpet floor & tables are either; clean, dirty, trashed, emmaculately clean, or moderately clean. Weekends are really rushed and busy so expect a mess.

When it is not busy and there are 1-3 people working it can often be really dirty because of the one person who takes a lot of time to clean, order for people, be a cashier, and bus tables. Absolutely horrible service. We waited over 25-30 minutes for our 2 Wisconsin Mac and cheeses and kid's meal while MANY other orders were being completed and served after we arrived. I watched as takeout after takeout were printed, cooked, packaged, and picked up all while we had been waiting at our table. We were number 5 in store and I watched as all customers who came after us were being served and finishing their meals. When our food finally arrived there was no apology of any sort and it looked like it had been sitting for almost as long as we had been there. Additionally, the cleanliness of the dining area was severely lacking. There were about 4 or 5 tables I saw that were filthy The entire time we were in store. Not once did I see one person clean off tables or clean up the floor. The silver linings are it still tasted pretty decent, even though the cheese no longer melted properly due to the food's temperature. The person who seemed to be in charge of getting orders out seemed clueless enough to likely be a new employee. So I'll give them the benefit of the doubt in that regard. However, someone should at least have been by his side training him though if that is in fact the case.
