The caramel macchiato at the GreenBridge Cafe is extremely worth purchasing. The word ā€œpurchasing" is usually not used in the context of coffee, rather in the context of buying expensive purses at Macy's, however, this coffee is all the luxury without the costly transaction. When I brought the cup to my lips, I noticed the rounded edges on the lid's opening, unlike cheap lids that have roughly cut slits to drink out of. Those poke the lip more, but the lid I received was smooth and comfortable to sip frį»m. Onto the coffee. It was a delightful substance, kept cool with cubish ice that crunched satisfyingly in my mouth. The coffee's taste was dynamic and refreshing. It would be for all who like caramel flavor. The consistency was not thick, but it was creamy and was sweetened to tame the bitterness. The caramel and coffee flavor was well balanced, with a little lingering of the bitterness in the back of my mouth. As the ice melted, it kept cool and the flavor weakened a smidgen, but it was delicious down to the last molecule. Now we come to the white shoes. Coffee in itself is grown-upish and cool, but if you need an extra shot of confidence, drink it as you wear white sneakers. They're all the rage now. As you strut along coolly fingering your luxurious coffee, in white shoes, people will stop and think, "Now that person is cool." Even the coffee’s name is cool: Green Bridge Cafe's Decaffeinated Caramel Macchiato. I remain yours, The (newbie) Coffee Critic, age 16

The owners/baristas are ALWAYS so friendly here. I grew up in Stillwater (90s kid) and discovered Green Bridge Coffee summer of 2020. I’d say it’s a testament to their resilience to have made it as a business with all of that going on, and it speaks to their creative business strategies (i.e. e-bike rentals) and warmly welcoming atmosphere. I’ve had their coffee/drinks the most and they’re always excellent! I always intend to leave a Google review, now that I’ve been back a bunch of times over the years and always suggest it to out of town friends visiting Stillwater, but I keep forgetting!! So, here’s my long-overdue review. P.S. The young lady in my video (July 8, 2023) was my girlfriend… and now she’s my wife. šŸ™ƒ All the more reason to bring your date to Green Bridge haha!

EDIT: The review below was written last year with a 2 star review, but today the experience was excellent and VERY much improved. Didn’t feel pushed out the door with little time signs or anything. Great spot! I’ve been here three times in the past year and each time my experience has been the same: extremely rude/passive aggressive staff and the feeling of being unwanted. I should be able to enjoy my coffee without feeling like I’m being pushed out the door. Also confused why some customers seem to get special treatment with table service while others have their coffee made and quietly announced once and left to cool on the counter. Only reason it’s not a 1 star is that the coffee today tasted good, but at these prices, it better be.

I like to make stops in Stillwater when ever possible. On my last visit, I was walking the streets for a coffee shop to drop into when I came across Green Bridge Coffee Shop. Its a new location that opened last March during all the crazy. Huge props to them for taking the leap into a business in the midst of shut downs and furloughs.

The barista I meet was absolutely delightful. Her warm and welcoming demeanor made the start of my experience wonderful. She was informed about the possibilities of mixtures for coffees and teas. She even suggested a latte that I have never heard of! She was also very helpful with informing me about the space and the options for accessing outlets.

The shop itself is a lovely little space with an inviting atmosphere and great bar style seating against the window facing the storefronts across the street. The passing traffic gives great stimulus for my focus. I found such a peace in watching people go about shopping from place to place while I enjoyed the stillness of being at the coffee shop journaling and reading.

It's a great place to stop in to work on homework, emails, or other remote work. Also, the pastries are real tasty! I am looking forward to when I get to...

I stopped in today after a long cold day working outside on a construction project north of my hometown- Stillwater. Since moving away to River Falls I rarely get a chance to see the change that has occurred over the past 25 years. Sometimes I'm saddened by what I see, reminiscing of the small town grew up in. I was so happy to hear this coffee shop replaced the giant t-shirt store that once occupied the space.

Enough backstory- this is where Green Bridge Coffee and the people of Stillwater rise up and make my day. I stepped in, and I noticed the owner locking up behind me. The barista made me a fantastic depth charge and told me a sweet older lady had payed it forward for me. It was very touching, and greatly appreciated by a guy who was weary and really needed a pick me up for the ride home.

The owner then let me out and said he didn't want to close up before I had walked in. Even with a mask on, I must have looked pretty rough and desperate for a cup.

Wonderful place, wonderful people, wonderfull town. Proud to be from Stillwater. I will definitely...
