We wanted something different to eat. I love LoLo but again wanted to try something different. We’re greeted quickly but it took like 10 minutes for our drinks. I ordered water with ice. Finally after some rubber necking trying to get someone’s attention, we ordered..it was not busy btw. On the suggestion of waitress I ordered the garlic noodles. I asked if it was well coated, saucy noodles. She said yes. I ordered with chicken and hubby ordered walleye fish and chips. Food came out in good time. My hubby’s fries looked like at the end of the bag..tiny pieces. He didn’t care for coleslaw..dry. He thought the walleye was ok. My udon noodles were really chewy. I’ve not had them that chewy before. A personally I think it needed another minute or two to cook? I know they’re supposed to be chewy but it seemed more dense and chewier than I expected …which whatever. The disappointment was the amount of chili crisp oil. It was ALOT. My noodles were floating. And for extra $7 or whatever for chicken, not much chicken. Waitress said it was saucy, I was expecting some hoisin or something other then just oil. I ate like 4 bites. Couldn’t eat it. I did tell waitress and she offered to have something else made but it was at the end of our meal. I wasn’t going to wait for a meal then make my hubby sit for another half hour lol. She was very nice. It’s just not our jam. I’ll...
Read moreI have been here three times now. And the only reason I didn't give it five stars for food was the first time the food was not memorable. As in I literally don't remember what we ate.
I ended up going with my partner about a month ago and realized I had been there once before. I had a Vodka Peach bubbly cocktail which I don't remember the name, and the website cocktail list doesn't seem to be current, but it was fantastic. I had a burger and my partner had the fish and chips and they were both stellar. As fish and chips people I will say that this was one of the best we've had.
We both really like the atmosphere and had excellent service.
Today we were celebrating my friend's birthday so we went to Stillwater today and we were just going to walk around and have appetizers and drinks. We went here first and both had the same drink I had had before and split some togarashi fries. She also loved the peachy drink and we both loved the fries. She had a gin gingery drink as well. I had a tiny tast and we both agreed that we could get into trouble with how good it was.
We sat at the bar and chatted with the bartenders, who were great.
We will both be back and look forward to trying different cocktails and other menu options. She is already planning on bringing her husband for the...
Read moreLet’s start by saying the food was delicious. I’m not sure what we did to offend our server, Anna, today but if affected our whole experience here.
We ordered the burrata app and she brought it to our table and left. I had to waive her down to get silverware or a napkin. I wasn’t sure how she thought we’d eat this without either silverware to cut the burrata or a napkin to wipe our hands from the toast.
Then our food was up on the pass for quite a while and she had someone else bring it to us even though she’d been MIA for quite a while. Not sure what she said to the kitchen but the fries we received were not like online else’s that left the kitchen today. We had all burnt ends and tiny pieces.
No one cleared our app plate and we had so many dishes on the tiny two top.
After asking us if she could get us anything else and we said no, she want back to doing menial tasks and ignoring us. She had cleared our table and we were just stuck sit there. We thought she’d get our check, but nope. We had to go flag her down and we were her only table.
She brought the check without a book and it nearly fell on the floor. We again waited a significant amount of time waiting for her to grab our card to let us leave the restaurant.
Again, sorry Anna if you had a bad day but you kinda...
