Del Taco — Restaurant in Temecula

The food at this location is hit n miss. I wont be back after today. No acknowledgement of me as I stood atbthe counter. Then 5 more people in line and still not even to say ill be right with you. The manager was standing right there and she was naking drive thru orders. As I watched her, she prepped food directly on the counter without using the paper wrapper to prevent contamination occuring from the surface. Gross. She sets the tone of the restaurant so since she couldnt bother with the customers, the whole 2 other employees couldnt either. Definitely needed 1 more person there. 3 people was in no way sufficient. So, instead of placing a nice big order, I walked out. Indeed, if the food prep is that sloppy, I dont want to go to this Del Taco anyways.

Personally, I think now that Jack on the Box owns Del Taco, they need to seriously look at how the franchisee is running this location. Based on other reviews a requirement of gut and remodel or location closure may...

Brought my Wife here for a quick stop before heading to catch a movie around the corner and I have to say it was on point. My wife had the Birria tacos w/consume Combo (drink and fries) and I had the 6 of there Taco Tuesday deal tacos. 3 tacos for $1.99 sounds like deal. Oh and a Chiken taco Al Carbon. My tacos were great especially with the hot sauce packets they got. Great for the price. My wife said the tacos were actually not that bad mind you we usually hit the Real TACOS SHOPS for those but why not Del Taco a shot so, she also said the consume could use some lime and probably more onions and cilantro. To sweet for my taste I might add. She liked them though. Staff was great the place looked clean and well kept. I did not use the restroom there so wouldnt know. They did forget to bring out our fries and I had to go remind them and I didnt mind but Happy wife Happy life wink wink. Over...

But it seems like this location is very run down and filthy.

Today I got a burger there and it genuinely grossed me out so much when I ate it.... I discovered that the tomato was slightly rotten AND then found a piece of plastic stuck in-between the patties!! Seriously?!! I know Fast Food isn't fancy and such... but please please be clean. After all we pay for that food and you owe us at least to be clean and fresh.

This is grossing me out. The restaurant itself isn't very clean inside either :'(

I first tried to order at the drive thru but it was a pain and simply impossible.... The guy at the drive thru didn't understand anything we were saying - we had to repeat it 6 times and he still didn't understand. Please get new speakers so that your employees can actually hear what customers are saying.
