If you don’t want to read the whole thing, just know this—the service is disrespectful and bad.
My girlfriend and I were excited for Spanish Flower to open, as we frequent North Italia and other spots nearby. We finally made time to visit on Tuesday the 25th—but left after 18 minutes due to terrible service.
We sat at the bar (only six people were there), yet it took 8 minutes to get our first drink. The bartender, Alex (the reason we won’t return), set the tone immediately. When I asked about a tequila, he replied, "No bro, we don’t have that." Bro? Is this Chili’s?
Then, after making my simple tequila and soda, he set it two feet away from my coaster, making me reach for it. Obvious and disrespectful.
A few minutes later, I asked if the wings could be grilled instead of fried. Without making eye contact, he said, "Yeah, no, we don’t alter cheap happy hour items." Cheap happy hour items? It was a genuine question.
At that point, I’d had enough. I asked Orlando (who was on his first day but had a great personality) for the check. As Alex was leaving, he told Orlando: "If you run into any issues, don’t call me. Handle it like a man."
This guy will sink Spanish Flower in The Woodlands.
We walked next door to North Italia and within 4 minutes, had drinks in front of us. 7 minutes in, we had a real conversation with the bartender. We ran up a $250 tab, tipped 30%, and left happy.
With Cheesecake Factory, P.F. Chang’s, Yard House (which we’ve already been to four times), and Capital Grille coming soon, bad service will be your downfall. We will never be back, and I’ll be sharing this experience with...

Now, let’s talk about the food—absolutely phenomenal! The flavors are rich, fresh, and perfectly seasoned. The fajitas are sizzling and packed with flavor, the enchiladas are smothered in delicious sauces, and the homemade tortillas are the best I’ve ever had. Don’t skip the queso or the guacamole—they’re both incredibly fresh and flavorful. And if you love margaritas, Spanish Flower serves some of the best in town!
One of the things that really sets this place apart is its commitment to quality and authenticity. Every dish tastes homemade, and you can tell they use the best ingredients. Whether you’re stopping by for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, you’ll leave satisfied and planning your next visit.
Highly recommend Spanish Flower for anyone craving top-notch Mexican food. Five stars...
Read moreMy Boyfriend made reservations for valentines dinner we were both pretty excited to try out this new restaurant. Service and food was very disappointing food took forever ,over an hour! looked around and many other tables were also without food for a long time. Our server told us multiple times food was coming out in next few minutes but really we waited over the hour to finally get our food. Once we got our food we asked for salsa for our food and we just knew she was gonna forget sure enough walked by multiple times with no salsa had to ask another server to bring us the salsa. My boyfriend was literally still eating off his plate and server asked if she could take his plate away ? Which is pretty rude in my opinion.…manager walked around to everyone WITH food asking if everything was going ok but barley came to us who had been waiting for over hr to get our food he knew we’ve all been sitting there for a while and not even an apology on delay. Very bad experience, just go to P.F. Chang’s across , you’ll get better...
