Decided to check this place out , but unfortunately worst customer service. came in and order 3 cakes , one drink black sesame hot & 2 BINGSU. Watermelon and sticky Rice.
Made an order with the guy at the cashier , he as well repeated back our order to make sure it was correct all 3 of us made sure what we ordered was on the screen.
Eventually our orders came to the table 3 cakes and one hot drink , we waited for a while for 2 bingsu while we notice that people behind us in line already had there order. We went up to them asking why our 2 items were not out yet. The 2 girls that were making the orders for everyone stated that they already gave the items to us, and already felt like they were judging us looking at our group up and down. AGAIN OUR ORDER WAS NOT THERE.
Then the cashier came to our table demanded to look into the brown bag that they have given it to us when it was just three cakes.
WHY WOULD WE BE LYING about not having our order when we have been waiting for a while. So we stood up at the front while all 3 of the workers were talking about the situation saying that they gave it to us even ask for our receipt whispering among eachother and we knew they were talking about us.. Unfortunately I clicked no recipe on the check out due to we already confirmed our order. why make it a big deal and have the no reciepts option then. By means check the camera .
cashier goes let me talk to my assistant manager . honestly very rude could of made the situation better by just giving us the two that we have been waiting for free and call it.
No he made us go to the cashier and he refunded all our order. I understand that sure why not refund it great.
But the two girls just talking it up looking at us not acceptable.
Never going there again and maybe get better employee that will make customers have an...
Read moreThis place used to be a hidden gem but over the years it has slowly gone down with it’s quality and service.
The mango rice with the bread used to come with ice cream but a year or so ago they made you buy it separately which hikes the price up further. Now today I went in for some dessert and had three orders with the bread. We waited nearly thirty minutes to be served burnt toast, not to mention they changed from the thick and large chewy white bread to a cheaper, thinner, and smaller bread. Do they not train their employees on how to properly prepare bread???
Definitely not worth 50$ for three desserts.
Also, this location does NOT answer their phone. My wife left her phone at the location and I desperately tried to reach the business with no results. I called the bubble tea business next store and they answered FIRST RING and were able to grab the phone for us. Thank goodness for them.
I ask the two girls running the store to why they don’t answer their phone and they told me they didn’t hear it ring…. Right… What kind of business that possibly deals with take out orders doesn’t have a phone that has an audible ring….
Terrible service, overpriced desserts, steer clear...
Read moreFantastic Japanese shaved ice! Unassuming location, but once you step inside you feel the whimsical dessert vibe.
The menu doesn't make this clear but the portions are generous! (Update: went again and there are also 'smaller' options that are perfect for one, and still substantial) So it seems pricey at first, but it's worth it. Decor is coming along inside, bathroom was nice, but otherwise the interior is a bit spotty on decor.
Wife had mango sticky rice and she was thrilled!
Mine was the red bean black sesame, thought it was supposed to have mochi but I don't think it did? The frozen lamb on top looked cute, but was just too icey and dense, couldn't eat a bite, gave me shivers.
(Update: it seems that the first time I went the mochi was just forgotten, I had mochi with my order this time, and it was fantastic. Also went with a few friends and while the ice figures on top were cute, they are pretty inedible and mostly got in the way, especially in the regular serving size).
Every else was fantastic! Will be...
