Y'all. Nobody is dancing. The handful of patrons look miserable and are shouting themselves hoarse. The bartender is having a terrible night. The place is dead.
Get rid of the DJ booth, the place is way too small for that, or cut the volume by at least half. Turn on some low house music, keep the lights low, and make folks feel welcome - this bar wants to be a close, quiet spot for intimate dates and conversation, it's not an Ibiza nightclub, and it's never gonna be. It's a small rooftop bar inside a fancy historic hotel. Lean into that, folks. Yeesh.

I think the bartender was pulled from another area/job at the Mayo and was helping make drinks. The drinks were average at best. The two drinks we asked for from the menu couldn't be made due to lack of ingredients so we settled.
