A one star for the on going situation and lack of response from the owner, the staff were very kind and friendly, when I visited I was on vacation and was interested by the pizza challenge they had in their window, I asked the employees about it and what I needed and they took my information for the next day to try the challenge. I came the next day did the challenge and completed it successfully, the employees took down my information such as name, phone number, and home address and said the owner would reach out with in a week. This was June 30th at 8:30PM and it is now October 5th and I still have not received an email or call back. I attempted to reach out to other locations and asked if I could speak to the owner they said that he was not normally at those locations so they referred me to the Roanoke location where he could be found. I called and who answered had a bad attitude and said you can not speak to him he is not available and hung up. So I now am making this review in the hopes that they read this and reach out because this is very disappointing for a restaurant to false advertise a challenge that they wont acknowledge after completing. SAVE your 40$ UPDATE: After months of going back and forth between different managers via email, they were able to respond and ask for my address after continuous follow up emails. I was told that due to management change as well as employee changes they were unable to verify my win and that I would receive only a portion of it. I am disappointed however still thankful for some form of acknowledgement that I completed...
Read moreI work just down the street from here, and I saw in a local newspaper that Benny's just opened this location. I saw that they had a MASSIVE 28 inch pizza and I was very curious about it. I ordered it and went and picked it up. Myself and all of our staff working that day thought it was absolutely wonderful.
The pizza, again, was absolutely massive in size. It's cut into 8 slices, and a single slice is so large that a single slice (or especially 2) are a meal on its own. The pizza was around $44 with pepperoni if I remember correctly. (It's about $38 I believe if someone orders only a cheese pizza). But it's enough to reliably feed 4-6 adults depending on how hungry they are, so it's a very fair deal in my opinion. Beyond the sheer size, the pizza also tastes very good and they do not skimp you in other ways that you think as a business they might. The pizza is actually fairly thick, and it actually is great tasting pizza, so you truly get your money's worth. It was comically hilarious and an utter, complete joy to slap a single slice of pizza into the microwave as left overs and watch the extremely large slice of pizza spin around the microwave as it's literally hitting the inside walls of the microwave. It's a childhood dream come true and it's completely reasonably priced.
10/10. I would recommend this...
Read moreOrdered a pizza online at 11:05 am, for 12:20pm pick up. There was no tracker so I called at 11:47 am to check in on the order in case it was ready earlier. The cashier said there was no order in their system. After a few minutes of trying to confirm, checked my account, and had been charged already, he said I’d have to come in to physically show him my receipt. Walked over for him to say it just popped up and that it’s for 12:20pm. I concurred and he said so why are you calling early? With an attitude. Seriously??? Tried to explain my reasoning, his attitude was obnoxious. Finally came down to asking for a refund, which this kid threatened me with initially in our disagreement, and then didn’t know how to work his system to refund. Asked me why I’m still standing around. I told him for my receipt to confirm the cancellation. While waiting I observed the other man there cooking, was not wearing gloves, pulling cheese off that was stuck to his shoe, and then proceeded to use the same hand, without gloves, to get more cheese out of the container for the pizza he...
