Cancun Fiesta — Restaurant in Virginia Beach

I went a couple of months ago I wasn’t going to write a review but I just remembered this horrible place. This is a really highly priced "Mexican" restaurant. Terrible waiting staff they walk around looking like they don’t want to be there or as if they aren't even getting paid. The service is slow and or terrible. The food isn’t great at all. The things on their menu aren’t even really Mexican or Latino dished its more of a Tex-mix might as well get TACO BELL. There is also an ugly fat ass lady there that believes that she’s the owner of the place. She is always looking’s at people as if they were beneath her level or looks at you as if you might not pay for your meal. I feel terrible for the owner of the establishment and for the workers he has. Hopefully once they re-open for the summer that fat despot lady isn’t there. She was new last year I’ve visited this place in the past never again will I make this mistake. It's very interesting to read the reviews up on this place. In the past 8 months to the date there are a various amount of 4-5 stars with no description possibly they were paid to post 4-5 stars. If you don’t want to take my word for it you may look at other reviews even left by hispanics and their experience on how horrible this place is. One last thing if you do decide to go here remember that there sometimes are some ROACHES crawling around the tables and booths. I couldn’t tell you anything about the quality of their food because I walked out before receiving any type of real service. First off, there were a total of maybe 6 customers eating in the restaurant at the time. One man at the bar and a small family at a table. We waited at the front for 5 minutes as 2 workers in the back stared at us. When a woman did come up front, I asked for a corner booth table since we had a party of 5 adults, including a 2 year old and his diaper bag. I was told that table is only reservable for parties of 10 people. She took us to a regular table with chairs. She immediately walked off and back to the kitchen. We sat there for a few minutes and I decided to go get a high chair myself so I walked to the front of the store where more customers had just came in, laid their things beside the register counter, and went and chose their own table. By the time I waited for all of them to put their things in front of the high chairs and was able to get the chair (a couple more minutes of patiently waiting), our drinks order had still not been taken by an employee. We sat for another 2 minutes, and the woman who had refused us the table we requested had taken the drinks order from the party that came in behind us. If I could give this restaurant -5 I would. This is the worst place to eat at. We were never offered chips and salsa when we sat down. The food we ordered was not what came to the table, ask for beef nachos and chicken nachos came to the table. The chicken was chunk and did not look right. Requested management to adjust the ticket because this was not what we ordered and did not want to send it back. But she said she would not, which is strange it was not like we wanted a free meal. We sent the beef nachos back (quotes) and ordered a beef taco salad and the meat looked horrible. It was minced with something else than beef and was not cooked thoughly. The steak Quesadilla was burnt and steak was tough. Run in the opposite direction when you see this restaurant. Management which was a woman did not come to the table and apologize or say anything for the presentation or quality of their food. I know it is a pandemic but please if your food does not meet the expectation of the customer you should be compensated for the quality. This management did not care about what the customer did not like all she wanted was the money. I will never attend this establishment again and I advise the same to anyone...
