I have to take the time to say thank you to Prosperity for helping make my fiancé’s 30th birthday elevate to a higher level of amazing.
I called prosperity because my fiancé does not like traditional cakes. She prefers cupcakes 🧁 if the occasion calls for cake. I love Commune located right across the street, so I knew I was in good hands because they are sister locations. If you have ever had the corn cookie with jalapeño sweet cream icing you’ll understand.
When I called the young girl on the phone was incredibly nice and helpful in picking out flavors and the amount of cupcakes need. I told her I definitely needed to have a chocolate chip cupcake, and we worked out what kind of icing, should it be a chocolate cake or vanilla cake with chips. I also told her we are big fans of lemon desserts, so she suggested a springtime inspired lemon and blueberry cupcake.
When I was able to see the finished product I was very excited. The cupcakes looked amazing and they were the perfect size. A bit larger than your standard cupcake but not overly big. The flavors were incredible , and not extra sweet. Lemon blueberry was the crowd favorite.
The cupcakes were a bit dense , but they were not dry. If I had to describe it I would say they were a cross between a cupcake and a muffin. I was happy to have bought something different, overall everyone enjoy the cupcakes so money well spent.
The key to a great cupcake is the icing to cupcake ratio. These were spot on for a larger dense cupcake, you want the icing in every bite, and you also want a thicker icing that isn’t like whipped cream. Prosperity nailed it.
On the topic of money, I bought two dozen cupcakes. The total was around 101 dollars for everything , so about $4.30 per cupcake which isn’t bad. If your looking for something different at your next party or special event, definitely check out prosperity kitchen and tell them about...

Read moreThe food is fantastic. I've had cupcakes from them, as well as pizza, and I know others who rave about the peanut butter cookies. Today I got the Potato Garlic Pizza and the Special (shitake mushrooms, mozzarella cheese, slightly spicy tomato sauce, garlic and sausage), along with a loaf of the Chocolate Cherry Sourdough. The smell alone is worth 4 stars, but the staff and service is what pushed it to a 5 for me.
I attend pottery classes at the VBAC, which is another suite in the same building as Prosperity. Last night I dropped my phone in the parking lot, but did not realize it until late last night. This morning, I logged into my account on Find My Phone, and it showed it in the parking lot. By 9am, it showed someone pick it up and take it into the other building that uses the same lot in which 3 other businesses are located. I checked with 2 of them, as the 3rd (Baby Izakya's) has been closed for a year or more. No one had or had seen my phone. I decide to check the pottery studio, nope. I went through the VBAC to the front desk, they hadn't seen it either. Finally I stop in at Prosperity. They hadn't seen it, but out of all these places, this was the FIRST to offer to take my name, a way to contact me, and a description of my phone. She expressed genuine sympathy and hopes that I found it. I DID! It was under another car. I went back inside to let her know that I found it, and she didn't need to keep my info. Plus, the food smelled so good, I had...
