It's a pet friendly restaurant. Mainly locals, my dog is a service dog. I ordered a chicken breast for pup and I ordered a drink. After 30 minutes the bartender came back and asked how my dog liked it. I told him she never received it. He went in back for a while and said they gave it to another dog by mistake. They are cooking it now again. I waited another 20 minutes. 50 minutes so far. They said they gave to wrong dog again. Then s guy passed I thought was manager and told him what was going on. He said he gave it to 3 different dogs went back and brought cold chicken je gave to someone else asked if I wanted it or not very rude. I asked if he was charging me je said yes. I said I wasn't paying for he said "fine I'll give it to other dog. I asked bartender to remove from my bill. He said he couldn't without manager. She came over and plopped down full bill. She said look there's a bunch of dogs we made mistake. I said I haven't left seat so it should have been ordered like anyone's food to me. If someone gave your food to 2 people then 3rd took off wrong table and brought to me would you eat it?
She said I am lucky I let your dog in anyway (even though there were 4 other dogs in there and mine is a service dog) I asked why you are charging me full price when you messaged up my order and I waited and hour and 20 minutes for 1 chicken breast. She said "I am the kindness person you'll ever met insulted me" took the whole tab and told me to leave.

Read moreCame to VA Beach for the Shamrock Marathon and found this place by chance. After reviewing online, we called for reservations and were able to get a spot for a crowded evening. We were seated upon arrival, and, once we entered, were not disappointed. Our server was attentive, and after seating, were visited by the owner who made us feel as if we were his guests for the evening with his personal stories and recommendations for places to visit while in town. We had a few questions regarding the menu, which our server answered eloquently, and our choices were made. For those who wonder- yes, the oysters Santa Fe are wonderful! An absolute must if available! We enjoyed the blackened tuna and the filet. Both were as good as we have had. The sides- mashed potatoes, asparagus, and andouille, complimented each as well. Portions are very plentiful and well worth the price. As we were leaving and in the parking lot, the owner popped outside the door and wished us well and thanked us for coming. We travel quite extensively to run marathons and there are very few times when traveling and visiting places that you get a âfeelingâ; that you just feel so welcomed and a personal connection with a place. Tempt is one of those places. My family and I would make the trip from Tennessee just for this place. Please visit. You will not be...
Read moreAtmosphere is perfect for a great night. I came on a Sunday so it was a bit slow so service was a bit lacking with the bartender the only one serving tables and the bar. She did great by the way just maybe have FOHM help out when needed. I ordered wings and the filet. Wings were 5/5 perfectly good and good size. Buffalo sauce wasnât from a bottle and blue cheese was defitnetly fresh and delicious. Filet was 4/5 a bit over cooked for MR on the edges and perfect on the inside. Grill might be too hot or too heavy of a weight to get the sear. Not much of a sear and a chunk of fat. Which I donât mind but mostly Looking for a lean cut when ordering a filet. Sweet glaze isnât necessary on this cut of meat. Itâs a good cut and cooked really well. Maybe add the glaze on the side. Plate was cold so were my mashed potatoes but they were delicious. 4/5 on those. Sweet potato fries are 3/5. Seasoned well but cut too small and thin. Donât serve them with ketchup thatâs just gross. Maybe some honey mustard or honey. Overall had a good time and would...
