The beer is good. I especially like that they have a couple of darker options (I am happiest with the stout that other reviewers have mentioned) since those are harder to find at these types of places. While there was no food available during my visit, I do see pictures where they have brought in a food truck. I am glad the owners are going in that direction since food is absolutely indispensable to the tap room aspect of this business. The place is new so the interior is immaculate and well laid out. This place will probably get most of its business in the summertime with beach-goers, and sitting outside will be desirable. There is a small outdoor seating area which I personally would like to see improved further. Maybe a retractable awning to add shade, or to save the porch from those summer thunderstorms? Maybe some fans to keep it cool and keep mosquitoes at bay? I recognize that there is not a ton of square-footage, but I'm sure it is something that a competent landscape architect could figure out.
Vibrant Shore Brewing is about ten years too late to the craft beer party in the United States. Annual sales growth in the U.S. tanked after 2014, and while still positive, we are pretty close to saturation. Making good beer will probably not be enough to keep them around. They will need to set themselves apart and above, both to generate regulars that keep coming back, and to get tourists visiting the beach excited enough to walk 3.5 blocks inland from the waterfront (past places that serve craft beer).
Don't get me wrong - I like it. If I lived in this neighborhood, it would be an amazing place to hang out and have a pint with friends. The beer is good, the staff is friendly, and the setting is mostly perfect. There are just some market challenges for them to overcome, and I think they are on their way to doing that. I wish them the best of luck as...
Read moreVibrant Shores is the kind of place that instantly feels like home. With its super laid-back vibe and friendly staff, it’s a true neighborhood hangout where everyone is welcome—including your furry friends! The dog-friendly policy is just one of the many reasons this spot stands out.
What I really love about Vibrant Shores is the atmosphere. It’s relaxed and unpretentious, making it the perfect place to unwind. The outdoor patio is a gem, offering a great space to enjoy your drinks while soaking up some fresh air. Inside, you’ll find a collection of board games, adding to the cozy, community feel.
While they’re known for their great selection of beers, don’t sleep on the root beer. It’s seriously delicious and a real treat, especially when paired with vanilla ice cream for a classic root beer float. The best part? You can buy the root beer to-go, so you can bring that little piece of joy home with you.
Centrally located and effortlessly cool, Vibrant Shores has quickly become one of my favorite spots. Whether you’re looking to hang out with friends, spend some time with your dog, or just enjoy an afternoon with a game and a drink, Vibrant Shores is the...
Read moreWe pretty much go to Vibrant Shore every weekend and have for the past 2 years, even throughout my pregnancy we’d go and I’d get food from the food truck and my husband would get a beer. We even went a few weeks after having our son so I could finally enjoy a beer. We’re pretty loyal to this place. I will preface my negativity with the fact that there are almost ALWAYS parents with young children when we go- the past 3 times we went my baby interacted with other babies. What upset me was the lack of any accommodations for parents. My son is old enough to sit up now so I asked if they had high chairs and they did not, no big deal. After getting food and a few drinks we needed to change my son, to my shock there we changing table in either bathroom. We had to use our changing pad and change him on the floor in the restroom as we rode our bikes. Aslin, Esoteric, and all the other places around us have been more than accommodating for us to bring our 6 month old and still have a great time. As much as we love VS we basically cant bring our baby so we have to choose the options...
