I dined here this morning on vacation with my family. The wait was not so long but they were busy as it was a Saturday morning. The waitress and the establishment care more about getting people in and out than their guest and it shows. Our overconfident waitress "memorized" our orders rather than writing them down. She managed to maybe get part of the order correct but gave us the wrong sides on one dish, and a completely different entree that no one in our table ordered. I'm glad no one ordered it because it was probably one of the worst dishes I've ever had. On top of this we also had an odd number of coffees and waters.
After leaving my significant other noticed she had misplaced her jacket and I as well as the rest of my party agreed that she had left it at the diner. Upon arriving and declaring our problem to the same waitress that attended us she was aloof and unhelpful, she wasted time probably hoping we would leave and helped other tables rather than taking the time to assist us. And it wasn't just them that did not want to take the time to help but nearly everyone working here. And the waitress that attended us when we dined was supposedly the manager! UNBELIEVABLE!
We asked them to check cameras to see if they could identify where or who took the jacket after much deliberation with people that simply did not want to help. And told us to write down our information because they were simply "too busy to help" A quick look around of the diner and the amount of people sitting and watching siting had SIGNIFICANTLY thinned out. Which makes it completely ridiculous that they were too busy too check.
They called us several hours later to say they didn't find the jacket we were looking for and when I pressed for more information to validate them actually commiting the time to check the cameras I was met with the same answer. " No we didn't find anything" "sorry". And the other person on the other end PRETENDED TO NOT BE ABLE TO HEAR US.
The people working here obviously don't care about ANYONE, all they care about is getting as many people in and out the door and collect their tips. I honestly hope this place doesnt have any more business because these people are toxic. Go to McDonald's down the street. They have better breakfast and better service than...
Read moreMy family and I got there and there was a family of ten waiting to be seated. I really don't know why? If there was very very... few customers there. I had to approach the person at the register in order to be acknowledged. Once we got our table it was completely wet from being What they considered clean. Two chairs still had and and cheese from the previous customers! I had to ask for a dry rag or towel in order to get the table dry. A guy there apologized and said it was a girl whom had cleaned it! At the middle of the waitress our drink order she asked us to wait to attend some other people up front don't know why if there was another girl there. How rude!!! Then diidnt give us enough straws.After taking our order, another family arrived and set behind us. Their order was taken by another waitress. We waited and by the time we waited the other family had their food served and finished and one of them had ordered the same thing I did. We had already waited a whole hour and decided to leave.There was no hey guys I know it's taking a while but your food is coming up or something along those lines. Once I was already requesting to be charged for our drinks the waitress was just coming with our food but by then we were supper sleepy and still hungry but very upset! Due to the bad customer service, that place needs to be cleaned by a special cleaning agency! Will Never ever ever go...
Read moreI never leave a bad review as I believe we are all capable of having a bad day, however, my experience today has left me convinced i will do everything in my power to never give a Dennys another dime. It was our last morning of vacation, waited 30 minutes for a table, another 30 waiting on food, food was cold, finally got our check and went to pay our bill. Employee/greeter Mark was in the middle of a transaction where the customer was 30 dollars short. I patiently waited about 10 minutes before I asked him what we can do so we could pay and get out of there . He wouldn't void the transaction or even complete it - he was making everyone wait until the lady could figure out why her card wasn't working. I cant even imagine how upset she was - and im sure she was embarasssed having her business told for all to hear! it, was extremely rude and Mark called the police on us for being “unruly”. No, we weren't unruly - we were trying to pay our bill so we could leave. In hindsight I would’ve paid her remaining balance just so we could get out of there. Extremely disappointed in how I was treated especially after all the waiting and not complaining about our cold food.
