Subpar food at INSANE prices. This place is something else. The pizza was alright, but that's where it ends. Let me start by saying the prices on their website do NOT match their menu. Everything is a few bucks more. Everything.
We got chips and salsa. It was $8. It was legit just store bought chips. And I'm not talking good chips either. It was store brand $1.25 a bag chips. And there about 15 chips on the plate. Not a great start.
They advertise build your own quesadilla. And yeah it sounds cool but, then you see the pricing. $11 gets you cheese only. Evwry single topping you choose adds $2.50. Meat? $2.50 each. Extra cheeses? $2.50 each. Every single vegetable? $2.50 each. So suddenly an anything more than basic cheese quesadilla is costing you $20+. And it comes with nothing. No side. Not even sour cream.
Same goes for the pizza. A large cheese pizza was $27. Which is crazy to begin with. But every single topping, no matter what it was, is $3.25 each!!!!! Suddenly you have a $40 pizza.
Their drink menu contains their 8 beers. That's it. No other drinks are printed anywhere on a menu. So you let your little ones get a lemonade. $3 each. That's fine, that's pretty standard. But when your 7 year old sweetly asks the server "can I have some more lemonade please?" They'll have no problem getting her some. And then charging her $3 more. Because there are no free refills. Which you won't find out until you get your bill and suddenly for have $12 in drinks for two kids. In fact, it was bogo beers when we were there, so our kids cost more than me and my wife both having a pint. Their 90% ice 10% sugar water cost more than beer.
End of the day, everything is stupid expensive, the beers were just alright, the chips shouldn't even be offered, and their website prices do not match their menu prices, if the prices are even...
Read moreBeware! I went to Pals with a group of ladies and it was probably the worse service I have ever received at a restaurant. To begin some ladies said the bartender was very nice, I didn’t not sit at the bar. But they only have beer and wine. Now just so you know we had 12 ladies and the rest of the restaurant was basically empty besides the bar. The waitress we heard was new and that’s ok but she should not have been alone then. We asked her if we could have all separate bills and she said yes which was nice. We ordered all of our food and drinks and waited and WAITED!!!!! We didn’t even receive our drinks which was mostly water and soda for about 20 mins. And then she missed some also. Then food started coming out in random orders. Most ladies food was wrong( either something was missed it she got the meal totally wrong) I would say about 4 ladies got food then we waited about 10-15 and some more food came out. Then we were missing 3 ladies food and it was French fries and a SALAD! The waitress was super rude. Two of us went to speak with what I believe was the manager but even he wasn’t every nice and then told us “what do you want me to do about it.”
Another large group came into the restaurant and waited so long and heard us complaining and the manager never even noticed they left. Place needs a lot of help. Food was just ok and service was Horrible! All the waitress would have had to do was apologize and let us know what was going on but no she couldn’t do that. She literally was upset that some of us were paying cash and she had to walk back and forth to the register. Then just decided to basically throw our receipts at us when we asked for them. By the way the manager came and said sorry. After someone had to tell him he should! If you are looking for a nice environment and good food maybe try...
Read moreWhen you walk in through the side door you walk across a lit room while listening to a band play on the small stage. You reach a podium that asks you to “please wait to be seated” as servers literally walk past you several times without acknowledging you. You finally get seated and are given their very large menu. I don’t mean a lot of choices, I mean a massive in size book menu. Service started off okay, and quickly declined. We got the chips and salsa as an appetizer. Stale chips and jar salsa is what we got. My husband ordered the grilled chicken sandwich with no tomatoes or onions. You guessed it - it came with both. I ordered the Philly with Au Jus and the beer battered fries. When it reached the table, the beer battered fries were in a soggy blob on the newspaper-covered plate. No Au Jus was given and we had to get the waiters attention to get any as he dropped the food and ran. The Philly meat was on a stale hoagie bun that they grilled the top of and burnt. The meat had no flavor. Getting refill on our drink wasn’t happening as our server was sitting at another table. 10/10 do not recommend. We even warned a large group of 10 or so from MN outside that they would not want to eat here. They left and went to Applebees - had to be a better choice. I left over half of the Philly on the plate and all of the fries and respectfully declined a to-go box. My husband and I are on an adventure roadtrip from SD for our anniversary and we just got burned bad on food here. Lesson learned....
