Bánh mì Phố — Restaurant in Hà Nội

I love Vietnamese and their food. Unfortunately, had a poor experience with the service, the aged lady who was taking orders was so distracted or was not paying attention when taking orders. She rather was focus with the white folks. Im a person of color, that was disappointing. I was with my wife and she only got us one bowl, I waited patiently but I did not receive my order. She apparently forgot my order and asked the kitchen to make one. And yet, after 10mins I did not get my bowl, had to remind her again. We were 8 people inside, she needs to pay attention of the customers. And still she gave me a wrong bowl. I asked dried pho and she gave me pho soup. After complaining, she spoke with the cooks and they just transferred the noodles to other bowl and still there was soup at the bottom. I just wanted to my good warm Dry pho. It shouldn’t be that hard.

Regardless of everything, their food is good and Id still recommend others to go and try....

I don’t recommend this restaurant. We went there last week and food was delicious. It was crowded that day and took long time to get food. Today we went again and the lady, the only one who is taking order and serving, gave me wrong fried rice.

I ordered grilled chicken fried rice but served me vegetarian one with no seasoning at all. I guess there was no salt. It took over 15 minutes to serve this. It took few minutes to pay the bill as well. Guess what she charged me 70,000 for this. I knew she is going to mess up my order. I already took this photo and showed her. She still insisted and charged me that amount anyway. It should have been only 60,000 if there’s no meet. Definitely not worth to visit. Inconsistent cooking. They cannot manage this crowded restaurant with few people in kitchen and only one server/manager who cannot speak any...

The quality of the food is excellent, definitely well chosen Ingredients and noodle/broth.

I had an incident where I accidentally ordered #3, and asked politely if I can add noodle to it. The menu is confusing as #1 is cheaper but has...more food?

The waitress had an almost frustrated giggle which I understood, fair enough, but the younger chef in the back was less then professional, shaking his head in disbelief and rolling his eyes, I was literally sitting right in front of them...don't need to know vietnamese to know that one!

Ruined some of the experience for me to be honest, probably won't come back because of it, but they must get a high turnover of tourists so probably don't care.

Also, the price is cheap because the portions are small. A medium is equivalent to a small bowl. So if you're hungry, you will definitely be spending...
