CAFE HIEU — Restaurant in Hà Nội

We stopped by here as we were craving for egg coffee and the lady was very accommodating (at first😂). I ordered 2 COLD egg coffee and 1 Vietnamese coffee HOT. While ordering, she was half listening to me and half encouraging other people passing by to come in. I told her I want the two egg coffees cold again. By the time we received our egg coffees, both were hot😅 I told her this is not what we ordered and that I wanted cold. She looked at me and brought a glass of ice😂 Those who have tried egg coffees, adding ice into the hot one does not taste the same when making it cold. So disappointed.

I just love this place. We discovered it by chance and ever since, we have been having our breakfast, lunch and dinner here during our stay in Hanoi. They make the best food and the price is reasonable. You will find their quantity must better and more as compared to other place. The staff is so polite as well. This is a must visit and I'm sure you will keep going here. They also have vegetarian dishes.

Their coffee tastes the best. Try out the banana+avacado smoothie, its so thick and yummy. We have also tried out their crepe, specially the cheese and chicken crepe, chocolate crepe. I also tried the chicken noodle soup which was so tasty if you add the chilly ketchup. This place will definitely leave your stomach full and satisfied. Thank you Cafe Hieu for making our time...

Lovely, friendly staff. The food is ok. We got banh mi, bun cha, fried rice, sausage, and mango chocolate crepe. The banh mi I ordered was missing a lot of the flavors I look for in a banh mi, like pate and pickled veggies. Maybe I accidentally ordered the wrong thing though? Bun cha was delicious, would definitely order again. Fried rice yummy. Sausage had a lovely crisp to the skin, but the taste and texture was comparable to a US hot dog.
