Amazing Vietnamese Cuisine at Countryside Restaurant!

We had the pleasure of dining at Countryside Restaurant during our vacation in Vietnam, and it was an unforgettable experience. The food was incredibly delicious, showcasing the best of authentic Vietnamese cuisine and vegan options. Every dish was full of flavor, fresh ingredients, and beautifully presented.

The restaurant is conveniently located within walking distance from our hotel, Serenity Diamond Hotel, making it an easy and perfect spot to visit. The staff was also very friendly, responsive, and welcoming. They even replied to our WhatsApp messages promptly, checking if we needed anything, which added a nice personal touch to the service. As a bonus, they offered us a discount, which was such a kind gesture.

Hanoi is full of restaurants with reviews going into 5 figures, which I just don't believe to be real in any way. No restaurant in a touristy part of a city can genuinely have almost 20,000 nearly perfect reviews. It's simply not how the world works.

We found this place and thought it may also fall into that category, but hungry and tired from a day of exploring, we gave it a go.

And, we were pleasantly surprised. Service was friendly and efficient throughout, and the food was pretty good. It wasn't the best food we have eaten in Vietnam, but it hit the spot that night.

We enjoyed fried catfish, tofu with tomato and nice fresh veggie spring rolls.

I'd recommend it if you're in the area and feel that those restaurants with the frankly insane number of reviews are...

What a wonderful vacation for me and my family. The days of May felt like winter in Hanoi. My family took a late flight and arrived at the hotel in the center of Hanoi's Old Quarter. Late at night, we still saw that the Countryside Restaurant at 27 Bat Dan was still open. The owner was very enthusiastic and served us. The first time we came to Hanoi, we felt like we were at home and enjoyed delicious local food (beef noodle soup is very famous and familiar when coming to Hanoi, Hanoi-style bun cha, ...). The restaurant opened very late, we sat until almost 1am. This is a very reputable and warm address for all tourists coming to Hanoi. We will stop by again if we have the opportunity to return to Hanoi and...
