Hi guys, i'm sorry that i don't have real photos of this place because every time I came here, I forgot to take any photo 🥹 I was so concentrated in enjoying the dessert. Anyway, the signature dish of this place is the glutinous rice with sweet soup. There are three options of soup: the light color one (the least sweet), The orange color one (the sweetest), and the black color one (probably made from black beans). I prefer the light color one because it's not too sweet. It's not just sweet, it also tastes a bit rich because of the starch and the bean flavor from the soup. This is definitely one of my favorite places to get traditional Northern Vietnamese desserts in the country. My favorite will always be black beans with herbal jelly and coconut pearls pudding (chè đỗ đen, thạch đen và trân châu dừa), and Tofu pudding with jasmine infused sugar syrup. If you can come early, you'll see that they do sell other small desserts on top of the counter, besides from puddings/sweet soups, such as 9-heaven-layers cake (bánh 9 tầng mây), sticky rice balls with sugar cane filling (bánh trôi), sticky rice with malt sugar/molasses (chè con ong)... of which I strongly encourage you to give each one a try. Omg, this is the place where you can try traditional chè ! I tried it at popular place in the same day. I thought it was good but nothing “wow” about it. However, when I tried here at the night in the same day. It was “wow”. Generous portion of ingredients and fare price point. It’s not sweet at all. Unfortunately, the signature “chè” was already sold out at 9pm on Sun…. So better to go earlier if you wanna try the signature one because locals are constantly coming in and out.
