The location of the hotel was good, within walking distance of many attractions within the old quarter.|This is the dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed in. The inside of the drawers had cobwebs, there was dust in every corner of the furniture and worktops were sticky. The chair was stained and burst at the seam. The mirrors and window were filthy. The floor had been washed but not swept as there was hair and peanuts on the floor. The toilet pan had the most disgusting stains. This is an old hotel and it has not been cleaned properly in years.|The television doesn’t work, apparently none in the hotel do. Beside lamp is broken and hanging off the wall. There is a kettle and cups but no tea or coffee. The water is either SCALDING HOT or cold. The shower riser is broken. There are no hand towels or floor mat provided. The only place to hang a towel is inside the shower area.|There is NO SOUNDPROOFING WHATSOEVER. The hotel is near a busy junction and you can hear horns blaring from 6am to midnight. There is a family living in the bottom floor of the hotel, no problem with that but you can hear their toddler screaming at 11pm and men talking long past midnight. As a paying guest I would expect some peace and quiet but didn’t happen.|I wish I had inspected the room before paying. My advice to you is inspect the room first.|This hotel is in need of a thorough deep clean and a lot of...
Read moreI am so sorry to say that this hotel was terrible. Our room was filthy, towels had brown stains on them, the shower head fell off whilst using, the noise was unbearable we hardly slept, the room had little silver fish all over the walls, the safe didn’t work, the fridge was broken, old mattresses stuffed down the side of the stair banisters, the bathroom was covered in mould, the smell of blocked stains was absolutely foul, the loo was leaking water all over the floor & when I reported it the guy who checked us in just shrugged his shoulders & carried on with his day! Even though we booked & paid for 2 nights we left & went to stay somewhere else after the first night. ||||The photos of the hotel & rooms used by the hotel on their website & various booking websites must be from when the hotel was first refurbished as it hardly looks like the same hotel anymore, completely misrepresented. The supposed restaurant/breakfast room is now just piled high with junk.||||Very disappointed especially when I have seen so many good reviews & the pictures looked the way they did. Also on booking & Opodo this is rated as a 3 star hotel….I would hardly say...
Read moreI stayed at Hotel La Vision in Hanoi with my wife and baby for 3 nights in September 2023, and I had a wonderful experience. The hotel is located in the heart of the city, within walking distance of many of the main attractions, including the Hanoi Opera House, Hoan Kiem Lake, and the Old Quarter. The hotel itself is exactly as shown in the pictures. It is clean, modern, and well-maintained. My room was spacious and comfortable, with a king-size bed, a large bathroom, and the view from window was nice. The owner of the hotel is extremely friendly and helpful. He went out of his way to make my stay enjoyable. He helped me book tours and activities like bike ride, and he gave me great recommendations for restaurants and things to see and do. He even reminded me about my bag that I left at the hotel after I checked out!He also arranged for me to be dropped off at the airport at a very reasonable price compared to popular grab APP.Overall, I had a five-star experience at Hotel La Vision. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and affordable place to...
