Highland coffee — Restaurant in Hà Nội

This Highland Coffee branch was fairly decent, and I think the low ratings it has received are a bit harsh, especially when compared to the general standard of customer service in Vietnam. The parking area is quite spacious, and there’s a guard available to help you park your scooter, which is always a plus.

I visited in the afternoon and noticed they were running a promotion: Offering free toppings with milk coffee. A bit unusual, honestly, jelly or boba in milk coffee isn’t the most common combo but since it was free, I figured why not. The seating area is somewhat cramped, with tables placed close to each other, but they’ve chosen comfy sofa-style chairs, which made sitting there fairly comfortable.

The staff were efficient too, preparing my drink in under five minutes, and they even asked if I needed any further help. All in all, I had a reasonably good experience at...

I purchased a Peach tea with lemongrass without ice. Had it delivered and my cup was half full! Not because the driver spilled it in the bag but due to Highlands only filling my cup up halfway! This is absurd! Highlands offers a cup size for a specific price and they only give you half of the cup filled with tea. This company is so cheap that they charge you for having ice in the cup! I feel robbed of my money! I should pay half the price if my cup will only be filled halfway due to me not wanting ice. There was not any logical thinking in this situation. So let it be known that Highlands is robbing customers of money since they don’t provide a full cup of anything even though the cup is a provided by them! I am definitely never going to purchase anything...

As a brand ambassador (non official), the place can boast a great location, nice views on busy streets of Hanoi.

Service is always high class, although there is little space for people to sit in, it gets full quickly.

I didn’t like to be moved by the manager from my place, customers could ask for it themselves. Kinda felt uncomfortable about it.
