Wow…I’m speechless. I hardly write reviews but this restaurant deserves it. It’s a hole in the wall place with only locals (we were the only foreigners here). The menu is simple—only 3 items. All of them are amazing and the best we’ve ever had of that dish. I’m surprised there isn’t 30k 5 star reviews or Michelin rated. But in a way that’s a good thing because you have no wait time to get seated 😜 we’ve been through most of Vietnam in a month long trip, and this is the BEST of the local food we’ve tried. You get a hug plate of greens, a stack of rice paper (not brittle rice paper), a large bowl of peanut sauce and you order various meats like meat on a stick or Bo La Lot which is meat in a leaf sandwich kinda and you put all the greens, a meat in the rice paper yourself and roll it and dip it in the peanut sauce. Read moreThis place was a straight up banger. First of all, the place was packed with locals which is usually a good sign. But there were also some foreign tourists too. It only took a couple minutes for an English speaking waiter to take our order. We ordered the homemade rolls, Nems on sticks, as well as the Bo La Lot. First came the nems and the Bo La Lot, and both were simply flavorful and exquisite. Right after came the rolls, the waiter showed us how to roll them, which was actually quite fun.
