I recently had the pleasure of dining at this establishment and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed. The mutton was simply amazing, cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. The dalma was equally impressive, with a rich blend of spices and textures that made it one of the best I've ever tasted. But that's not all - the gulab jamun was a delightful treat, with just the right amount of sweetness to cap off a wonderful meal. The service was impeccable too, with attentive staff who were happy to answer any questions and ensure that our experience was nothing short of perfect. Overall, I can confidently say that Tadka Indian Restaurant serves the best Indian food in Hanoi. If you're a fan of authentic, flavorful dishes that transport you to the heart of India, you simply must pay this restaurant a visit. Trust me, you won't regret it!

We usually use to order from this place but wanted to come here and give a try. It’s easy to locate the place when we arrived. We’re welcomed by the staff with a broad smile. We ordered Samosa chat,chilli paneer, mango lassi and Vanilla shake in starters. Samosa chat: 4/5 Chilli Paneer: 4/5 Mango Lassi: 5/5 Vanilla Shake: 5/5 We went on to order Paneer lababdar, lachha parantha and Garlic naan in main course. We loved the overall taste. Paneer lababdar: 4/5 Lachha parantha :5/5 Garlic naan : 5/5 At least we ordered gulab jamun with Vanilla ice cream.l loved the way it’s served. Though the quantity was less and it wasn’t value for money but the taste was a great. Overall rating: 4.5/5 Food : 4/5 Service: 5/5 Value for money:3.5/5 Atmosphere: 4/5 We were served by Prashant. He’s a very amazing person and always had a big smile on his face. 5/5 for his service.

The owner of the restaurant has his own business and brand of spices manufacturing here in India and so, the taste of the food here is really awesome. The portions and servings are perfect for 2. If in Hanoi, definitely give it a try, as the Indian food here turned out to be the best among various Indian restaurants at Old Quarter that we tried and that too, at reasonable prices. The location is very close to Hanoi Train Street. We were attended to by Mr. Prashant and Mr. Sagar and their services were just awesome. The interaction with Mr. Prashant (standing in the middle in the attached photograph) made our lunch all the more enjoyable. Special shout out to him! We visited there for a vegetarian dinner and a non-vegetarian lunch the other day. Both were simply great.

We had a situation. Had ordered Khichdi and it was delivered on time. When my dad had a bite, he realised it was spicy and he could not eat it as he was a patient and admitted to the hospital. I informed Tadka Restaurant over WhatsApp. He apologized while not his fault (as I had not mentioned it was for a patient) offered and insisted on the phone that he will send one more Khichdi with Zero spice levels and on complimentary basis. And they did it. In fact I offered to pay and they mentioned let your dad become alright, that will be their pay. What a nice gesture by Mr. Prashant and Mr. Srimant of Tada Restaurant in Hanoi. Thanks for their care and the humanity. And last but not the least, the Khichdi was absolutely delicious. Dad had it all.

We stayed in Hanoi for 4days and the night dinner on all 4days were here. It's a very good Indian restaurant. Prashant attended to us on all the days, and is very soft spoken, polite, informative and helpful. Food was very nice, tasty. I think, most Indians will love it and won't feel away from home. One ara of improvement is Biriyani. Another thing to work on the seating. We felt that the space is too small and congested, seats are smaller compared to other restaurant. I'm sure the restaurant is open to critical feedback and will work on making better, tasty and flavourfull rice dishes (esp Biriyani) and improve their seating arrangement to manage space efficiently. A bonus is, this restaurant is behind the famous Hanoi train street.

A very cute little indian restaurant, although I think there were multiple floors, so not actually so little. The atmosphere was charming, the food was a larger portion than I expected and all very delicious, and the service was top notch. The owner spoke perfect English and stepped in anytime I had trouble understanding the staff, the food came out quickly, was delicious and there was so much to the chicken tikka masala that I ended up finishing an entire order of naan and ordering some roti which I finished as well. Everything was well cooked and the Tikka masala was the perfect amount of spicy.
