This is my 3rd time here and I would come every day despite the humidity in Hanoi at this time of year. Their service was excellent, I like how they are not pushy to customers walking by to dine at this cafe. They were very polite and friendly. We had some bites and the snack food was so good that we ended ordering another plate of fried spring rolls and fried fermented pork. The egg coffee is a must try. We went back at night again and the server saved us a table. We enjoyed a couple of alcohol beverages and we went back again the next day. The local soy sauce was so good and when I told the server I couldn’t find the bottle here in the local marts as I wanted to buy more to bring back to Malaysia, she then offered to help to buy it for us which costs us 60 thousand dong for 6 bottles whereas I bought a bottle for 20 thousand dong in Sapa. The atmosphere at night was lovely, having coffee at the railway whilst the train passing by was a great experience. I will definitely come back again on my next...
Read moreHao Hao coffee in Hanoi was my worst experience in Vietnam! I ordered vegetarian spring rolls, but after trying the first piece I suspected that meat is inside. I asked the waiter again, but he assured that fake meat is used which is done with beans. It trusted him, but after some more pieces, I definitely found something which has a consistence of meat fat. After showing the waiter this evidence, he confirmed and translated to me on his smartphone „sorry it was a mistake“.
I had to leave my wife alone and quickly run away since I had to throw up.
After coming back, my wife paid the complete bill including the meat spring rolls!!

Probably, it is one of the reasons why I will never come back to...
Read moreAwful client cervice. With my family of 4 persons, we came early, 2h before, to watch the train, ordered 1 beer and were talking and thinking about order other drinks and food. There was nobody at the cafe, so we were taking 5 chairs. The barman came immediately and aggressively told us to take less space and order quickly. We didn't have time even to look at the menu, he came back and agressively told us that if we don't order 1 person 1 drink, we need to leave the bar. He started to yell on us that we need to leave his bar immediately and started to laught with other barmans that we are stupid tourist who don't pay and take a sit...
I can understand that the rent of the bar is expensive, local politic that every client has to order something, but I will never understand and tolerate the aggressive behavior and the desire to moke at other people.
That is very peaty because the city is beautiful and cafe is...
