It is not in the heart of city center, but it is near the Perth central station. If you are staying in the city, it is still walking distance. If you comute via central, this will be perfect place for shopping, it is very near the central station. It is not as big as other supermarkets in the city, but still covers most of the daily necessity. But it seems this is the only Coles in the city center. The staff are friendly. When I was looking for certain variant of the chocolates and cookies which couldn't find them on the display, they proactively to go warehouse and bring it to me. Much appreciated their help. In the term of pricing, it is comparable with other supermarkets in the city. Few items are bit higher but also there are few items that are lower than other supermarkets.

Very cool little store in the centre of the city months a lot of other variety stores and connected to the city car park which is pretty handy. The store has a full variety of products just Lisa as it is half the size of a standard store in rain Square. Very convenient for those who work in the city and need to do the shopping before they get home

Felt compelled to leave a negative review after buying bread that is clearly stale despite having a use by date 4 days from now. Having worked at Coles in the past this is extremely disappointing and honestly I don't believe this loaf just accidentally made it onto the shelf, more likely someone has made a conscious decision to sell stale bread.

Coles in the Perth CBD area serves as a convenient and dependable grocery stop for city dwellers, office workers, and travelers alike. While it might not have the depth of range found in larger suburban Coles stores or specialty grocers, it still offers a solid selection of everyday essentials and ready-to-eat meals—making it a frequent go-to for quick errands or last-minute dinner solutions.

The store is generally well-organized and clean, with clear signage that makes navigation easy. Stock is usually replenished efficiently, though during peak hours (especially lunch and after work), some popular items may run low—particularly in the grab-and-go section. Still, the variety available is commendable given the space constraints of a city store. The fresh produce section is respectable, and while it may not boast the widest organic or exotic range, it consistently carries the staples in decent quality.

One of Coles’ strengths here is its selection of ready-to-eat meals and snack options. Whether it’s sushi packs, roast chicken, fresh sandwiches, salads, or pre-cut fruit, you’ll find plenty of convenient choices that suit a busy, urban lifestyle. It’s a popular lunch stop for many professionals working nearby, and also a great option for tourists who need a quick, budget-friendly meal.

The bakery and deli sections offer decent variety as well—expect fresh bread, croissants, roast meats, and cheeses. While Coles might not be your complete one-stop destination for everything (especially if you’re after gourmet or specialty products), it absolutely hits the mark for regular grocery runs and casual meals on the go.

Overall, Coles in Perth CBD is reliable, clean, and efficient. It’s not trying to be everything, but for what it aims to deliver—convenience, essential variety, and decent ready-made options—it does...

Ah, Coles Central Raine Square. A beacon of fluorescent lighting and discounted avocados in the heart of Perth's concrete jungle. It's like any other Coles, really, but with a slightly more panicked air as city workers frantically grab lunch between meetings.

The layout is surprisingly spacious, considering it's crammed beneath a skyscraper. You could almost do a cartwheel down the aisles, if you weren't worried about being tackled by a lawyer late for their quinoa salad.

The produce section is a sight to behold. Shiny apples gleam under the harsh lights, and suspiciously perfect tomatoes whisper promises of a gourmet sandwich. But be warned: those pre-packaged salads have seen things. They've witnessed the lunchtime rush, the coffee spills, and the occasional pigeon attempting to fly off with a grape.

But the real highlight of Coles Central is the people-watching. Where else can you see a CEO in a suit wrestling with a frozen chicken, or a group of teenagers attempting to build a tower out of instant noodles?

It's a symphony of urban chaos, set to the soothing sounds of the checkout beeps.

So, if you're in the city and need to stock up on essentials (or just want to witness a microcosm of urban life), head to Coles Central Raine Square. Just be prepared to dodge a few stray shopping trolleys and the occasional rogue...

I have just had the most disgusting experience in Coles Perth. I went to the cold meats counter to purchase meats for the very ill person I care for (a family member) and I was told by Yonnis that the counter was closed and I asked why as it was only 4.21pm so in his very rude manner he told me that's what they do when it is quiet. I asked him to get the Manager and he just walked off so I went to the main counter waited and waited to get served. Finally the Manager, Nathan appears and he wasn't a bit interested! Yonnis reluctantly served me and when I asked him for his name he quickly removed his name tag. I ended up buying ham when we are so over ham as we have been eating each day! Yonnis and Nathan made me feel so appalling - how dare I asked to be served! They advertised that the doors are open till 6pm! Typical Perth as you cannot complain about the service as there is no service to complain about! Plus I am 7th Generation West Australian and I...
