I recently visited the Banksy exhibit on a quiet Sunday morning and found it to be a well-presented experience. It's great to see a significant amount of his work gathered in one place, offering a comprehensive look at his pieces.

While the exhibition does a good job of displaying the art, I felt the descriptions of the individual pieces could have been more informative. For those looking to delve deeper into the context or meaning behind Banksy's work, this was a slight drawback.

I fully appreciated the information that accompanied each piece of art by Banksy. I came away better informed and educated on both the Artist and the intention and meaning behind the work. Afterwards we went into the WA Art Gallery and saw a magnificent artwork by Revel Cooper, one of the Carolup Painters, with virtually no information to say why these paintings, (by traumatised children!) from Carolup, are important. Excellent exhibition, well presented and the staggered bookings meant that even though it as busy there was still plenty of room to wander and view all the work. I did not know much about Banksy other than the images in the news, so I found it interesting to discover there was so much more to him than that. I hadn't realised that extent of his work either.
