⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ – A Hidden Gem in Prague – Worth Every Step!
We had dinner tonight at Atelier Restaurant in Prague and were absolutely delighted. Although it’s tucked away in a quiet side street, it’s truly worth discovering – a real hidden gem for anyone who loves good food and warm hospitality.
From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcome. The friendly dog greeted us, and both the hostess and another staff member received us with warmth and a personal touch that immediately made us feel at home. The atmosphere is relaxed yet refined – you can sense the care and heart behind everything.
We started with two appetizers: I had a cream of asparagus soup with fresh mushrooms, beautifully presented and wonderfully balanced in taste. For the main courses, we enjoyed a seafood bowl and ravioli with truffle and green asparagus – each dish perfectly prepared, flavorful, and elegantly served.
The restaurant has a clear focus on French-inspired cuisine and wines, offering an excellent selection at truly fair prices. We had a Kir Royal, a Vodka Tonic, a Vodka Martini, and later a local dry white wine, all of which were well-paired and served with attention to detail.
The value for money was excellent — we paid around 2,100 CZK (about €88), which is more than fair for the quality, the presentation, and the overall experience. We gladly left a generous tip.
In short: – Wonderfully warm and personal service – Delicious and beautifully presented food – Cozy atmosphere with an elegant yet unpretentious touch – A place where you simply feel good and want to return

Read moreThis was, without hesitation or reconsideration, the most incredible chance encounter of a hidden gem of our small stay in Prague. The seabream ceviche was one of the best I've ever had, as well as the grilled octopus starter had by a couple of others who dined with me. I'm often guilty of ordering the same thing if it's on a menu - pork belly - but I was rewarded with something succulent, crunchy with crackling, and tasty beyond expectation. The tuna steak my wife had was was similarly incredible. Finally, a smooth creme brûlée blew me - and the many creme brûlées I've consumed in the past - out of the water.
Excellent wine, and a glorious talisker 10 year accompanied the excellent cookery. I genuinely haven't been so pleasantly and wonderfully surprised in a very, very long time. Hats off to the chef, and our waiter who helped all of us balance our starters and mains when we asked to give us a preferred choice of 2 options (when ordering both courses!!). My only regret is I have no...
Read moreWe had an absolutely lovely evening here, celebrating a birthday. The recommended white wine, a Czech sauv blanc, was a perfect complement to the extremely creative starters--duck tartar with goose mousse parfait and a ceviche. The mains were tasty and very generous. And the Forest dessert was both tasty and a visual delight. The atmosphere was lively but not loud. The service was polite and generous. I noticed someone else was annoyed to be charged for tap water, but we've found that's just standard practice in Prague. We had a bottle of still water which was nicely chilled and added to our fancy experience. The overall bill was so low we truly...
