Top things to do in Alsace at Christmas 🎄: - Check out the ENORMOUS Christmas Tree at Place Kléber in Strasbourg (and make sure to check out the hourly light show on the tree!) 🎄 - Admire the many buildings decorated with teddy bears 🧸 (notably le Tire Bouchon in Strasbourg and le Comptoir des Authentics in Riquewihr) - Try out all the tasty food at the markets (warm up with some ‘vin chaud’ 🍷) - Explore all of the different towns and villages (especially Strasbourg, Colmar and Riquewihr - plus Eguisheim and Ribeauvillé are cute too!) 🏡 . . . . #christmasinalsace #alsacetourisme #alsacefrance #alsacemylove #alsacegram #visitalsace #alsacezvous #colmaralsace #colmarfrance #colmarchristmasmarket #colmarandyou #visitcolmar #strasbourg #strasbourgtourisme #strasbourgcity #strasbourgfood #strasbourgchristmasmarket #strasbourgbynight

Everything from seating to dessert was fantastic! The drinks and plates came out promptly and made to order, the Saison was nice and cold with a slice of lemon, the meat was moist and the sauces were made with just the right amount of salt. The salmon was fresh, cooked perfectly and the skin kept it's crispiness until the end of the meal when we finished it. The cordon bleu was juicy and tender and the filling carried an intense flavor to compliment the meat. The tables around us had different dishes, so I got to see and smell a lot of the menu. I have some ideas for my next visit. The creme brulee had a satisfying crunch when you initially break through the sugar and had a very light and smooth texture. The cheesecake also looked absolutely amazing, but I was too full to try it. The price point for what you are getting is quite affordable and the waitress took good care of us. They earned a second visit from me.

Probably one of my favorite meals while in France. Ordered the three course meal and selected bone marrow as a starter, the pork stew with mashed potatoes as the main course, and then the apple strudel for dessert. Everything was just fantastic but my favorite was definitely the pork stew. The pork was cooked perfectly and didn't have a stringy dry texture. The stew itself had to have been the best I've ever had. I even dipped my mashed potatoes and bread in it it was so good. The atmosphere warmed up as we sat. It was very quiet at 7 when we sat down, but by 8pm, the place felt very alive with conversations. Highly recommend!

Went in with high expectations, left with disappointment. The food was below average, of course for the average tourist this place may be acceptable, they could even mistakenly rate this place a 5 star. However for me and my group of friends, this place did not make the cut. With the waiter trying to convince us we are wrong with half the things we said and unaccepting of the mistakes in their food. My cordon bleu pictured in post was burnt to hell, of course the waiter will tell you it was supposed to be charred like that, even after he saw how dry the inside was, he did however ask if we wanted it replaced, we denied. This was a chef suggestion, i don’t want to know what else the chef suggests then. Foie gras was not shabby, paired well with the riesling we chose. After more negative comments about the week old potato chips, the waiter had enough and simply became ignorant and careless, he didn’t want to listen and the few words that made it into his ears were all contested against. A dessert was offered at the end, a black forest cake, which was basically whipped cream with crepe slices of chocolate sponge cake made from a pre mix. Wouldn’t recommend unless you’ve been living in a dessert the past week.
