I recently had the pleasure of visiting Yinyang Platinum Spa at Dubai Mall, and I must say it was an absolutely incredible experience from start to finish. The moment I stepped inside, the atmosphere completely transported me into a world of calm and relaxation. The decor is beautiful, with soft lighting, natural tones, and a soothing scent that instantly made me feel at ease.
The spa itself is pristine and elegant, and the staff were welcoming and professional. They took the time to explain the different services available, which range from massages and facials to more specialized treatments. I decided to go for a massage, and Iâm so glad I did.
Therapist Shirley was my first therapist, and I cannot recommend her enough. She has an amazing ability to find exactly where my body was holding tension without me having to say a word. Her technique was the perfect balance of firm pressure and relaxation. I left the room feeling like a new person. My muscles felt loose, and my mind felt calm. Shirleyâs attentiveness and focus on the areas that needed extra care made a huge difference. If youâre looking for deep relief from stress, sheâs your go-to therapist.
Next, I had a session with Maria, and her approach was more holistic. She really focuses on balancing both the body and mind, which was exactly what I needed after a stressful week. Mariaâs use of essential oils and aromatherapy made the experience even more relaxing. Her massages are so soothing, but you can tell sheâs also working on the deeper levels of tension. She has this incredible calming presence, which made it easy to unwind and fully enjoy the treatment. After my session with her, I felt both physically and mentally rejuvenated.
Finally, I had a treatment with Stella, who is a true expert when it comes to precision. I had been dealing with some neck and shoulder pain, and Stella knew exactly how to target those areas with the right amount of pressure. Sheâs very knowledgeable about anatomy and really focuses on the areas that need extra attention. By the end of the massage, the stiffness in my neck was significantly reduced, and I felt so much lighter. Her approach is more targeted, but still relaxing enough to make you feel completely refreshed.
Overall, Yinyang Platinum Spa is one of the best spas Iâve visited in Dubai, and the therapistsâShirley, Maria, and Stellaâare nothing short of amazing. Each brings their own unique touch to the experience, and together, they made my visit truly memorable. Whether youâre looking for deep muscle relief, mental relaxation, or targeted therapy, this spa has it all. I will definitely be coming back and highly recommend it to anyone in need of some serious pampering and...

I took my mother yesterday to YinYang Spa in Dubai Mall for what was supposed to be a 90-minute relaxation massage. Instead, it turned into one of the most unprofessional and damaging experiences weâve ever had.
First, the therapist insisted it was a 60-minute massage, even though we had booked and paid for 90 minutes. In the middle of the massage, the therapist had to step outside to confirm with the receptionist that it was indeed a 90-minute session. That alone disrupted what was supposed to be a calming experience.
But it got worse.
The therapist ignored multiple requests not to touch her right toe, which has a known medical condition. My mother repeated herself six times. The final time, the therapist pressed so hard that my mother screamed in pain. Her toe is now swollen and injured, and she cannot walk properly. We have a doctorâs report documenting this injury. She only focused on my motherâs back and no attention to the rest of her body.
To make things even more unprofessional: ⢠There was no manager on site to speak to. We were told the manager âmoves between branches.â ⢠The receptionist refused to offer a refund, saying âyouâve had your 1-hour session,â even though: ⢠The therapist wasted 10 minutes tapping my motherâs face, not even massaging. ⢠My mother walked out early because the therapist began bending her arms unnaturally, stretching her forcefully â completely inappropriate for a relaxation massage.
The total cost was 375 AED, and for that, we received: ⢠Medical harm ⢠Disrespect and negligence ⢠Refusal to take responsibility
After multiple calls with the supposed manager and her higher-ups, the only compensation offered was to charge us for 30 minutes and âgiftâ us a 1-hour session â which we absolutely do not want. Why would we return to a place that caused harm, ignored boundaries, and then refused accountability?
This place is unprofessional, untrained, and dangerous. For the sake of 375 dirhams, YinYang Spa is willing to risk their reputation and their clientsâ well-being. I will be pursuing this further and making sure others are warned. This is not a spa you can trust and certainly not a place where safety, care, or customer satisfaction matter.
Do not go here. Youâve...
Read moreEDITED my earlier 5 star review - Today I booked for lymphatic drainage massage. First of all my therapist had some sharp edges in her nails that was hurting she did go to shape and come back immediately after I complained but I donât think I have to tell you this itâs your job as a masseuse that you shape and file nails so that you are not hurting your customers . She apologized and I was ok until another therapist barged inside without knocking on the door inbetween my session which really annoyed and destroyed the whole experience. My therapist kept apologizing but it wasnât her fault the other staff who came inside should have asked/knocked before barging in as she can see a session is in progress . I informed the lady at the reception about this and all she told was thank you for the feedback Iâll speak to the staff. This definitely wasnât a good enough response. No empathy or apology or even a call after checking nothing . The price we are paying is premium and we expect that service . It is NOT ok for someone to barge in like that inbetween my session even if itâs a female itâs a breach of my privacy. I am not sure if Iâll go back as they lack the great customer satisfaction. They never even ask for feedback all the times I have gone. They take payment at start and once you are done then you just leave they donât ask you anything. So I was very upset today and didnât see much of a reaction from the receptionist when I told her I was unhappy that someone came in like that.
Had a great Massage Michelle was amazing I loved the atmosphere and massage was peaceful good pressure I was so happy that I sent my husband for a massage immediately after me . Itâs great that they have the option of male therapist . He was great too as my husband loved his massage as-well. Will...
