The Shops At The Bravern — Attraction in Bellevue

The Bravern (shops-wise) is usually pretty empty but the parking can still be a little hard to find -- and I only come here during work hours on weekdays...

It has a handful of nicer shops, which is nice since designer shopping can be hard to find in Seattle. The Neiman Marcus is honestly way too small, though, and the customer service is so mediocre (will save further detail on that for the Neiman Marcus review). It has the only Oliver Peoples store in Washington, which was convenient when I needed to get my lenses replaced. Don't forget to get your parking validated if you're here and shopping around. My biggest gripe about this place is the parking and lack of stores... I mean, it has a Gucci, Moncler, Jimmy Choo, NM, etc. but seems to be missing some pretty big designer staples...

I went to The Shops at the Bravern because of the Expensive and Nice stores there, but almost all said you have to call and get a appointment which I feel is just lazy and taking advantage of the pandemic. I also noticed that all the employees would look at you and check your appearance To make sure your a person that is going to spend money. It made me feel very uncomfortable even though they did not say anything to me and my family. And that was only because we were well dressed. Embarrassing parking experience. Was there just now. In and out of the garage in 12 minutes. The sign says first 30 minutes FREE. I go insert my ticket the gate won’t open unless I pay $4. Call the assistance using the button. The guy is rude. Speaks poor English. Says the $4 is correct but I have the ticket in my hand I was there well under 30 minutes. Guy now won’t answer when I push button. Meanwhile cars are piling up behind me. How embarrassing. I paid the fee and will dispute it with Amex. Total waste of time and goodwill.
