It’s a shame that employees are told to lie to paying customers about restrooms being “out of order” just so they can’t use them. When asked where they as employees are able to go, they are caught off guard by the question and start stuttering about having to go “next door”. (I asked multiple employees, men & women) “Next door” is a Japanese restaurant with a rude manager that treats you like a bum on the street if you ask for their bathroom and then directs you to Haagen Dasz, almost 2 blocks away in the heat, which are only single occupancy facilities. The manager at the restaurant even tells on the Nike employees, stating the bathrooms DO work but they don’t want customers using them! You can tell he is annoyed with the Nike store sending people to his restaurant. So I asked the Nike employees how long the restrooms have not been working and was told “it’s been a while.” So either management doesn’t care about their own employees or they don’t care about paying customers. Maybe both. Either way, it’s unacceptable and they need to know that it’s not ok. We’re good enough to spend our money at your store, but not good enough to have a basic accommodation for normal human bodily functions? As one of the busiest foot traffic stores in Dania Pointe, they need to do better. Since you don’t seem to care to address it in person, maybe you’ll care when it’s...
Read moreMy experience there was horrible. If you are black the nike employees watch your every move. You can't try on shoes without them being right over your shoulder. I took my mom to the store to show her this new nike store at this new dania plaza and let me tell you. Worse experience ever!! We walked the aisles looking for deals and I mean every way we turned it was an employee watching us especially the black ones. A young white employee came up and asked 3x what are we doing while I was trying on shoes. The black one with the bald head followed us around the store. Now mind you. I just bought 5 pair of shoes a week ago for my kids and spent a good amount of money. & I even bought myself one pair today. But when I tell you it was the worse experience. It was other race in the store but they cake watching only us and it's ridiculous. I will not be shopping there ever again. I'm disgusted. I will be reporting to corporate as well. Can't even shop in peace. I'm a postal worker and I enjoy spending my money where I'm treated with respect. Nike this is...
Read moreSome store employees backdoor exclusive shoes (Jordan retros and dunk lows) by having their friend or family member come and buy 8-10 pairs at a time. saw someone in line with absolutely no items, went to the cashier, the employee then had multiple sb dunk boxes and Jordan’s brought out by another employee. They checked all those items out and that person in line didn’t leave with any of the items they just “bought”. It goes without saying, none of those shoes in those boxes that were purchased were available to the general consumer entering the store. They front by putting some AF1 and Jordan mids behind the register (to pretend they’re showcasing sought after shoes and making it a “fair” experience by not putting them on the shelves) but are actually hiding the real sought after sneakers… selling it to their friends/family to later...
