Mediocre overpriced Mexican food with staff to match. House margaritas are pretty weak and mid, food is alright but salsa tastes equivalent to canned tomato sauce. You can get better food and drinks at Chilis, but it’ll do if you’re hungry and don’t have any other options. Cleanliness is questionable, and management is rude even to staff.
Heard the server who was acting as a manager for the day give what he called “feedback” to the sweetheart of a bartender because she asked customers if they would like shots prior to serving them because it was a “big check”. He wanted to serve them as if it they were complementary then sneak it on the bill afterwards. So make sure to confirm your bill is correct prior to paying.
When I paid they wouldn’t honor a coupon for a house margarita because they put two slices of jalapeño in it. Apparently even though they don’t charge for their “flavors” it doesn’t qualify as house when they’re added. Not that big of a deal if the employee had a kernel of tact in explaining this or was capable of taking feedback. Instead when I explained my confusion since it wasn’t clear on the coupon that had NO INSTRUCTIONS OR INFORMATION and advised their “policy” didn’t make sense given the menu which advertises their house margarita available in several flavors, they instead proceeded to argue with me about it, talk over me condescendingly and suggest I come again. At which time I could pay for another mediocre entree and the coupon on an “unflavored house margarita” then instead. I explained I wouldn’t be back given the confusion and passive aggressive confrontation that was completely unnecessary. To which the person proceeded to sarcastically ask why I didn’t have a good experience. As if I hadn’t already clearly explained the issue. The entire time holding my debit card behind the counter after it had already been ran and not providing a receipt to sign.
It’s a $10 margarita with a half shot of liquor, it’s not worth arguing about and I would have happily paid for it had they taken accountability for the vague advertising and apologized. Instead he turned what would have been an unremarkable dining experience and a “damn that sucks” response into something stressful and embarrassing cause he was unable to stop arguing. Very clear they weren’t mature enough to be handling face to face customer interaction and should take their employment to the nightclub where their pretentiousness will be...

I had one of the most upsetting and humiliating experiences of my life at Casa Tequila. I came in with my girlfriend for a dinner date. I’m a bilateral amputee and use a power wheelchair. As we entered, another man in a wheelchair (with a beer in hand) struck up a short conversation with me—he was visibly distressed, sharing that he was scheduled for an amputation and just wanted to talk. I listened briefly, gave him words of encouragement, and made my way to the table where my girlfriend was already seated.
That’s when things took a disturbing turn.
A man who claimed to be the manager—and also claimed to be the owner, although clearly not—approached us and told us to take the conversation outside. I explained that it was already over and that I was just heading to my seat. Moments later, after we were seated and served chips and salsa, this same man returned and abruptly told us he was refusing us service—without explanation.
I repeatedly asked him for his name (at least five times), and he refused every time. I told him I was sober, not under the influence of anything, and simply wanted to enjoy a quiet meal. I asked why we were being refused service. No answer. No reason. Just a cold, silent dismissal.
I was left feeling completely shocked, hurt, and discriminated against. I’ve been living as an amputee for over three years and have never been treated this way. It felt like I was being judged and denied service simply for being in a wheelchair and speaking briefly to someone who was clearly struggling.
This experience was not just unprofessional—it...
Read moreI met a friend during my layover, and we decided to sit at the bar instead of a table. The bar was relatively quiet, with maybe 7-9 patrons and the appearance of only one bartender, Eric. When he approached us, he asked if we knew what we wanted. Since I'm not a connoisseur, I had questions about the tequila menu. Specifically, I inquired about the differences between the various margarita and tequila options offered, such as the skinny margarita and Cadillac margarita.
Instead of providing helpful information, Eric responded dismissively, saying, “It's all on the menu, just read it.” His tone was snobby and quite off-putting. Feeling disdained, I opted to ask for water instead, but he never delivered it. His rudeness overshadowed the experience, prompting us to move to a table.
Several servers approached us, clearly noticing our choice to move away from the bar, and we candidly shared our experience. I would rate this establishment 2 to 3 stars for service due to the aftercare we received from a lovely server and other staff who checked on us. The food was standard. I had a beef enchilada while my friend ordered beef tacos. The venue was beautifully decorated with impressive art installations. Its location is perfect, situated on a walkable street.
I will not be returning here. Eric’s lack of professionalism and hospitality affected my experience, and I don't tolerate hostile interactions. Perhaps he was overwhelmed or having a rough day, but his choice to take it out on me was uncalled for. I...
