Hanging Lake Adventure Co-op — Attraction in Glenwood Springs

This was our first rafting adventure. It was amazing! Easy to purchase tickets online (affordable too), easy directions i.e. what to wear, bring, where to be and what time etc. The guides were very funny, light hearted and obviously love their jobs! They were a lot of fun! The trip down the river was amazing - our guide was so great about pointing out things on the river, telling us stories etc. I apologize if I misspell the names of the 3 guides, but it is worth it to point out how great they were. (Tonto, Wampy and Audrey/Aubrey). At the end of the excursion we stopped to see a natural hot springs. A woman on another one of the rafts fell on a slick rock and hit her head rather hard. I am a medical professional so I began to assist the guides - however; there was not one moment when I questioned their abilities and/or decisions and actions. They were calm and their response to the crisis was perfect. It allowed everyone else on the rafts to stay calm as well, while the injured woman was taken care of. People pitched in and all went great! The three guides asked the appropriate questions and responded accordingly. We had the BEST time on our half-day river rafting trip with Hanging Lake Adventure Co-op! From start to finish, it was pure fun, laughter, and unforgettable scenery. Our guide Maia was an absolute gem—she kept us entertained the whole time with stories, jokes, and just the right amount of splash-zone chaos. 😄 The ride was thrilling but totally beginner-friendly, and the views were out of this world—majestic mountains, crystal-clear water, and even a few surprise rapids that had us cheering like kids at a theme park! If you’re looking for a fun, safe, and downright awesome adventure, this is it. HUGE shoutout to Maia for making it extra special. We’ll be talking about this trip for a long time! 🛶🌞🌊

Rented snowboards for my two sons this week and had a wonderful experience from start to finish. I set up the reservation on the phone and was taken care of with thoughtfulness and kindness. We are not from the area and had a few questions and Jes was so helpful over the phone. Once we arrived we were greeted by Zach who took his time with fitting my two sons with their gear.
