My skis were dropped off Sunday morning, they were supposed to be ready before closing that day. Called Monday to see if they were done as I hadn’t heard anything and I was told that they were lost. About an hour later I got another call that my skis had been found. When I came to pick them up, the gentleman told me that only one boot was dropped off and that we still needed to pay. After paying $50 for a binding mounting and leaving with one boot, I find out later that both boots were definitely left at the shop & the full amount of $25 had been paid already. I had already missed a day of skiing at that point from them losing my skis and paid three times more that what the original cost was supposed to be. Today I called to find out where my boot is & the guy I spoke to kept insisting that it’s super rare they’d take two boots in. I get they’re extremely busy during these snowy days, but you can take a minute to go see where the boot you lost is. A couple hours later I called again to see if they found it and nobody had looked. I decided to go in with my other boot to help them understand what it looks like (black nortica boot.. not that hard) & they finally began to start looking. I actually found the boot in plain sight when we arrived. Then I only got refunded $25.. literally had to pay more than I was charged originally after having to drive from New Castle twice due to their uncared for mistakes. I’m kinda shook how this unorganized business even has 4 stars. When I was younger they were actually on top stuff for the most part it seemed like. Also they have a tip jar that says they’ll only do their jobs at the rate they promise if you...

Read moreThe boyfriend and I took our skis here to get waxed and the edges sharpened. We were both pretty disappointed with the service. When we went to drop our skis off no one acknowledged or helped us right away. There was a girl there that was doing absolutely nothing but did not offer to help us (during both visits). Someone gave us the forms to fill out and told us our skis would be ready the next morning at 8am. We were ready to hit the mountain by 9am when we got a call from the shop saying neither skis had been sharpened and it would be another hour. When we when to pick them up there was five guys standing behind the counter talking. No one stopped talking to approached us... what happened the customer comes first? It honestly felt like they would get to us when they were done with their conversation. Such a difference from the shop at the Sunlight ski resort. Worth the drive for people who actually appreciate your business. And that is what we will be...
