AVOID THIS SERVICE AT ALL COSTS. I booked a shuttle for myself, two friends and all our backpacking gear to be picked up at a trailhead and shuttled to Teton Village. We arrived at the trailhead more than 30 minutes before our scheduled pickup time and waited over an hour (more than 30 minutes past our pickup time) with no sign of the driver. Not having any other option I started walking to where our car was parked and managed to get a cell signal and was able to call the driver, who was waiting at a different trailhead than the one we specified in the booking. After directing him to the correct trailhead and making my way back there we were finally headed to our destination. First the driver refused to admit he was at the wrong trailhead, and then he said he drove through the trailhead parking lot we were waiting in but he absolutely did not, the car was clearly marked as a taxi service and it was a small parking lot loop we were waiting in so we would've definitely seen him drive through. He then proceeded to blame us for not calling him sooner and when I explained we did not have cell service he responded that "he had service so why shouldn't we?" He also asked us why we didn't start walking around looking for him when the pickup time passed and he wasn't there, which is just not how a taxi service is supposed to work. You don't specify a pickup location only to expect the customer to wander around hoping to find the driver. After all of this discussion he told us we would have to pay a $60 "waiting fee". When I protested this he pulled the car over and said he would leave us on the side of the road if I didn't pay, which felt very much like extortion. Not wanting to be stranded I agreed to pay. If you want peace of mind that the taxi service you book for an exorbitant fee will actually show up to where the booking specifies, won't blame you when they don't go to the correct location, and won't extort you for more money and threaten to leave you on the side of the road, THEN DO NOT USE...
Read moreNot sure if I would use this company again. We used them for 4 trips during our stay in Jackson (all pre-booked online). The pros- all the staff were polite, all were on time (usually 10 minutes early), and twice we were running late (took awhile to get bags at airport, horseback rides ran long) and they waited for us without any concerns. One quickly responded to a text when we asked if we could change our pick up time to later so we could hike longer, which was super appreciated. The bad- the first car to pick us up seemed a bit worn down and we actually had a hard time opening the doors to get in even with drivers help. The 2nd driver took us to the airport, even though we were booked to go out the other direction to a trail ride. We don’t know the area and didn’t realize until he pulled up to airport and we had to correct him. He didn’t have our correct address on him, so we had to direct him from our google maps. This detour caused us to be running 30 minutes late, at which point he started driving very fast and aggressively, at times reaching 100 mph (literally) and weaving and passing dangerously along mountain roads. One driver made us nauseous by constantly speeding up and slowing down, unable to keep a constant speed. None of the drivers were outwardly friendly. They all were polite, but didn’t engage in small talk even when we attempted to get to know them. I guess some might like that since they give you a quiet ride without chatting your ear off, but they seemed Pretty disinterested in...
Read moreHave to echo other users. We scheduled our taxi service to be picked up from String Lake Trailhead and dropped off at Death Canyon Trailhead. Our driver couldn't find us for 25 minutes because they went to String Lake Picnic Area and the service there is poor. We didn't mind this too much.
We were dropped off one mile from the Death Canyon trailhead and had to walk with our backpacking backpacks for one mile. The driver was kind and professional, but he informed us he couldn't take us to the actual trailhead because he didn't have the right kind of vehicle.... Many other smaller cars were driving the road just fine and parked further up the road and at the trailhead. When booking, we were not notified that the dropoff location would be one mile from the trailhead. We were also charged extra for doing String Lake instead of Jenny Lake. Its already an expensive service, and if they're going to charge customers for every mile they should at least drive them those miles.
We emailed the company twice afterwards without...
