This Starbucks location has great people working here. No attitude, attentive, and seemingly happy. Great service every time I go.
The Atmosphere gets a 1 because the location is at a terrible intersection where it is both dangerous to enter and exit the drive thru. The location is a drive-thru / park and window order. The line of cars often stretches out for dozens of yards into regular traffic, making it confusing and dangerous for commuters to try and navigate around the line and then back into regular traffic. Many people end up not knowing they are not in traffic, but in fact, in a Starbucks line. So they zip in and out, sometimes still using half of the lane you're occupying while waiting to reach the window.
The exit is equally as perilous with heavy on coming traffic barreling towards you from all directions, which then artificially slows the line as people need to wait for you to get your backside into traffic so they can finally order and pick up their order.
The service is slow due to the over ambition of walk up and drive thru for such a small poorly located store, especially with the previously stated traffic handicap artificially slowing the line of cars. This is only going to get worse once the gigantic, mega-block sized apartment/ hotel / retail structure is finally completed down the street at Western and Sunset. They should have picked one route and stayed in that lane. Pun 100% intended.
It might be a fun game to play with a friend to see who gets their order first if one of you hits this drive-thru and the other parks at Target and goes into get the same coffee at their [Target's] internal Starbucks. Loser buys all the coffee. Someone make that video, please. I want a producer credit and a Vente Mocha Latte, please...
Read moreI came on Sunday 9/30 and with the line out the street (everyone's favorite Starbucks) the workers maintained a calm and positive attitude as they helped all guests in a timely manner. I come here almost everyday and every single worker is beyond AMAZING! They care about the customer and if they don't have something in stock they do there best to accommodate for what you want.
I wanted to comment on a horrible review a Mr. Kenan K. posted today giving them a 1 star. My boyfriend and I witnessed the entire thing... He was rude and complaining the entire time. He just like everyone else got their order as fast as possible. He stated he didn't get it for 45 minutes in his review... more like 10 minutes MAX! like I said they were insanely busy. We overheard him saying he was going to write a bad review on Yelp while he was harassing the workers. He was completely in the wrong and honestly was not respectful of anyone else there waiting patiently for their beverages. This Starbucks deserves a 5 star. Read moreI made a mobile order and when I arrived 20 minutes later (it said it would take around 6-10 mins) the cashier apologized saying it wasnt ready yet.. I waited for a while and after 10 mins I checked again and he said it wasnt ready... then he went back and said he didnt see the order and asked to see my receipt.. I told him this was hugely inconveniencing as I had other places to go after this and showed him receipt on phone, i asked if I could get a next one on us for this inconvenience and he said it's not up to him. Then he brought the manager Daisy over who confirmed the receipt was good. He said to wait shed make it.. 10 mins later I'm back and she asks me what I ordered again! So I'm still waiting.. and she says she cant give me a next one on us bc it's not the stores fault.. im like well what about all this other waiting?! She said one or the other.. it was infuriating..
