I think some staff at this location should be taught more body positivity! I went a few days before EDC to get some last minute accessories for my outfits. Everyone was super friendly and welcoming- except for one girl working the back. She was white, tall, heavyset and was wearing denim overalls that had the words ārave wonderlandā in green. I asked her if they had size L in one of the matching sets I was looking at which she instantly responded āwe donāt make size largeā. I looked confused at her and said āwell thereās only size S hereā I wear M/L and I know the store goes up to size XL? Iāve gotten top sizes M and bottoms L in the past with no issues the clothes is always flattering and fits comfortably. She just repeated āwe donāt make big sizesā. No smiles no suggestions no follow up helpful conversation. I ignored her and kept looking around then sure enough found a similar cute set in size L and went to go try it on. I waited by the fitting rooms and she finally approached me but started laughing with another staff who was in the photoshoot section when she saw it was me. She even told the girl ādid you hear what I said in the radio?ā while laughing. Again no hello or good conversation so I just stood there smiling at her. Not only was my encounter with her off putting but she was very rude. I kept shopping and was waiting in line to pay next when she brought it upon herself to come all the way to the front of the store, glanced at what I was purchasing, and tried to play it off like she was just walking by. Didnāt grab anything didnāt talk to anyone just walked by to do a double take and left. Mind you she was twice my size so Iām not sure where all this off-putting bully energy was coming from. I know itās not what RW stands for especially when they are always promoting plus sizes and plus models looking amazing in their clothing. The experience did leave me with a weird feeling since I like to feel comfortable when Iām shopping in person, not like Iām being judged and watched/made fun of. She needs to learn how to speak to people because as I asked a simple question due to her allowing two chicks to actually cut in front of me and sheās like ādo you understand what Iām saying āobviously I do , and she actually went out of her way to defame my character and disrespecting me & my twin by saying that I was basically overreacting over the wallow talkie to all her coworkers ; saying it was my fault ! number one rule in customer service : customer is always right no matter what!!! FYI she should learn how to speak to people because for her being illiterate trying to explain her job task and ignoring what she did wrong ⦠she should learn not to put people on the spot because after that, she actually told everyone on the radio oh, what happened ( her false story ) and that it was my fault, and it wasnāt her fault, even though it was and that embarrassed me and the person that I went with me and made us so uncomfortable Oh, and also, she went crying to the manager saying that I threw the remote when I didnāt! check your cameras to clearly see that she was lying and if it has audio I hope you heard what she told me because sheās rude , illiterate, and should learn how to speak to people. As a business owner , I would of fired her. All the other staff amazing tho! I advise the rude employee to recant her lie for defaming my character and embarrassing my twin and I when she was clearly upset I didnāt let her talk to me the way she did. Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe best shopping experience maybe ever. The store has neon lights, bass speakers, and the coolest atmosphere! Very clean, organized, and an amazing selection. Prices very reasonable. I am awful at making decisions but the staff was so SO kind, helpful, generous, supportive, and polite. I had no idea what I wanted and I asked a million questions and they were so patient with me. At first when I walked in, there was 2 workers and they both helped me. When the 3rd and 4th came in later, they both helped me aswell. In the end, I bought the shoes I was looking for and the rave essentials. The atmosphere of the team is kind, and welcoming. I felt comfortable. I drove all the way from San Diego just to shop here and was not disappointed in the slightest. Itās just something that other rave clothing stores donāt have. I felt like I was at a rave just shopping there. I went in alone and am normally very shy but I was helped a lot and they took all the time I needed. This team knows exactly what raving is all about.
