Took the kids to this huge beautiful beach and very friendly seagulls lol. Also I posted more village by the sea photos where we stayed. There are 3 beaches near where we stayed the Oquanquit Beach was about 20 mins away maybe more due to traffic backups it is a real busy area. But the family enjoyed themselves so definitely worth the fight thru traffic 😁. Oh and finding a parking place without having to pay is nearly impossible. And a lot of spots you do pay for are almost nearly impossible so that to will take a bit but again this beach is absolutely stunning and worth...

The main public beach is a very dynamical one. You can explore the water in different ways: riding the wave, crashing the wave, jumping over the wave, flow with the water in the river. We had a lot of fun. The beach is very flat - most people had to leave the beach when the tide rises to the highest point at around 6 pm. The one is comparable to the east beach in New Port, RI. The onsite parking is very limited. We had to walk from the other parking lot on the shore street, which was convenient enough. However, the parking on the shore street is also...

Very crowded but you can find space to spread out and play. I saw a few men tossing a football 🏈 and a family playing a game. Information ℹ️ is posted about the tides and currents. Lifeguards are on duty. The beach 🏖️ was clean and seagulls walk around not bothered by the people. Parking 🅿️ is expensive 🫰. It is less expensive further away and it is a short walk to the beach. The tide 🌊 does come in quite a distance so it will make it a little more crowded. But I really liked this beach! If you don't mind the parking 🅿️ issues, I recommend this beach.

Beautiful beach, easy to space out from other people. Be prepared to walk down the beach for more space, a wagon of some sort to bring your cooler and chairs is worth it. Water is cold but swimmable for a break from the sunshine. Parking is about 7 dollars an hour or 40 for the entire day. Other lots available near by for somewhat cheaper, more of a walk though to the beach. Food, drinks and restrooms on site. Well kept. 5/5.
