Took the kids to this huge beautiful beach and very friendly seagulls lol. Also I posted more village by the sea photos where we stayed. There are 3 beaches near where we stayed the Oquanquit Beach was about 20 mins away maybe more due to traffic backups it is a real busy area. But the family enjoyed themselves so definitely worth the fight thru traffic 😁. Oh and finding a parking place without having to pay is nearly impossible. The main public beach is a very dynamical one. You can explore the water in different ways: riding the wave, crashing the wave, jumping over the wave, flow with the water in the river. We had a lot of fun. The beach is very flat - most people had to leave the beach when the tide rises to the highest point at around 6 pm. The one is comparable to the east beach in New Port, RI.
