Golliard's Park — Attraction in Page

Thank goodness for this dog park. It’s fenced and has 2 separate areas for big and small dogs. Not that it’s marked but you figure it out. There are bags and a trash can for poop. Our dogs did not want to go at the Airbnb because it wasn’t fenced and they won’t poop on a leash. Don’t go too early because it’s less crowded after7:30 or 8. The grass is green and your pups can run. Turn on the road right before the park and there’s a small little parking lot that you can park and walk to the dog park section, otherwise you are at the front of the park and there’s no parking lot. Park was nice and had a playground for kids and shade. This came recommended to me being out of town to let my dog run around here. They have two dog parks. Unfortunately both folks that were there had dogs that shouldn’t be at the dog parks because they were not socialized properly. One dog crawled under the fence and went after my dog. Was scary for a bit until the owner ran over and grabbed her dog. We will just say that I did not go back there on this trip. Took my dog to Lone Rock beach instead and...

Golliard Park usually pulls a 5 star from me but the 4 star rating is only temporary until the new grass grows and the city of Page is doing a fine job of green restoration. Shade is a rare commodity on the high desert and for a relaxing shady BBQ this is the place.
