Located on Powell Adams Rd between Walmart and Target at Pier Park, this is a thoughtful revival of a PCB amusement park with just 5 wonderful rides getting it off the ground. Near front beach road and directly behind the Panhandle Helicopter, take your children here if you feel sad that Miracle Strip is no longer standing! It is free to just walk in and look and all employees will be happy to explain how it works. We bought a card for $54 dollars and we got $64 dollars worth of rides. This allowed me and my 16 yo daughter to ride all 5 rides one time and my daughter was smiling and jumping up and down the whole time. Cash card is re-loadable and never expires. Employees are welcoming and really care to get your feedback. The 5 rides are (1) two-seater swings, (2) super-fast go carts that last a while, (3) best bumper cars I have ever been on, (4) snake ride is Dante's Inferno classic Chance Trabant, and lastly (5) Swamp Ape is Abominable Snowman Eli Bridge Scrambler! The bumpers have 2 sticks for control and each person has their own vehicle, allows for full controll. Go carts have 4 turbo boosts each ride to increase your cart by +3 mph. Save Swamp Ape for last...enclosed, air conditioned, fog, black lights and music. Bridge from entrance to park rides is lit up at dark and has a wonderful spell binding effect. In the future, I'd love to see a wrist band option for repeated rides like it was at Miracle Strip, but we will take what we can to create the memories now. We will definitely...
Read moreI didnât know this place was tucked away off Front Beach Rd. My husband found it when searching out places to ride go karts. We went for a date night and had a blast. At first I thought the electric carts wouldnât be fast/fun, but I was pleasantly surprised. I love how quiet they are. They have a kids/slower race or a pro/faster race, but itâs on the same course. You just join the line depending on how fast you want to go. You can also ask and do a Mario cart style version by driving over different colors to earn powers. At the last minute we also decided to play mini golf. They are remodeling the course and are halfway complete. The first nine is super plush with plants and waterfalls. We didnât have food or drinks, but will next time. The prices for food was very reasonable. All in all a great place in PCB. They do have a locals card if you go plan to visit often⌠canât recall the exact deal, but at least they offer something...
Read moreThe go Karts were fine, however, online and all the signs around the gokarts sell this as a Mario Kart type game with sensors to drive over that will slow down other karts, avoid sensors that will slow you down, etc. In reality, you get 4 times to push a power up button to increase your speed for 15 seconds, which is fine but definitely not what was advertised as. The mini golf was average at best. Very repetitive, several holes that have 2 blocks just in random places in front of the hole. honestly, we paid for 18 holes (only option) but only played 9 because we were bored. Would be better with different obstacles, hazards, something. The signage for price was lacking as well. We waited in line for a while and had no idea what the cost was until we go to the front as there were no signs to check before. It was very clean and looks like it has potential but not something we...
