Oy vey, when are they ever going to step up the quality of shops at this place?? It's crazy we literally go to 3 shops here. Carters, the shoe store and the bookstore. Most of the stores here don't even seem like they are trying to pretend that they are selling things at an "outlet" price. The stores either seem like they cater to the Super young crowd, or the super old. Pendeltons....... really?? They have redone their bathrooms here, so that is always nice. I wouldn't say we spend more than 1 hour there. I would stay longer if they had more appealing stores, but the kitchen store and Eddie bauer, and nike? No thanks I'd rather not and say I did. You're better off driving down to cannon beach and checking out all of the galleries there, then head down to manzanita, they have really been building that town up. Last time we enjoyed the inverted photo place, the guy there went above and beyond to get some great shots of our family when my phone conveniently died he used his own and made sure to get all of my information to get the pictur es to me, and he did. The arcade is fun, other than that meh, you could spend one day here and satisfy that tourist attraction itch. Once we were riding the carousel and everyone is the shops was screaming because and huge rat was running around now that was...
Read morei went into zumiez with my son for a a couple of minutes and he had his hands inside of his sleeves because he was cold and a man working there would not take his eyes off of us. it made us feel very uncomfortable. he then proceeded to ask my son if there was a reason for his hands to be in his sweater and my son answered he was cold. the man then nodded and continued to look at us in a very unfriendly matter. he called a couple more workers out. and they all were giving us the same look. my son felt uncomfortable and i just felt plain disgusted so we left without buying anything. ruined our time. they thought because my son had his hands inside his jacket he was stealing. would never recommend this store. and i would never come back to this outlet. just a head ups for people with kids. i really hope the man gets fired. he was tall maybe 23 to 26. white male with blond/light brown shoulder length hair. facial hair. WOULD NEVER COME BACK. very unfriendly and...
Read moreOur family was on vacation in Long Beach and decided to pop down to Seaside for some back-to-school shopping. We didn't have any idea that there were so few stores left and that NONE of them carried kids' clothing except for Carters, and a TINY bit at Nike. My kids are 9 and 13, so Carters was out, and Nike had such basic stuff, my kids were like "meh". We did get them new shoes at one of the two pretty big shoe stores, but I'm left wondering how anyone with kids around this area finds clothing. We hunted down a TJ Maxx not too far away and were able to find a few items, but man, what a shopping letdown. Not even Zumiez had any sizes for teens.
I'm sure during Covid a lot of the old stores were forced to close. Hopefully this shopping center...
