Yesterday I had the pleasure of taking a Red Rock Jeep Tour with Big Bob Haugland, AKA Mr. Rogers. Our Canyons and Cowboys tour started at 8am which was a perfect time of day for viewing the majestic mountains and varied wildlife in Sedona. Bob was a gracious guide, knowledgeable, affable, and professional. He expertly navigated the rocky trail and dry creek bed conscientious of both his passengers and the hikers on the trail. While bumping along on the dusty red trail he pointed out the various trees, their significance and usage to the native Americans, as well as other fun facts (you'll have to take the tour to find out!) He was easy going and humorous, engaging in banter while providing facts and pointing out areas of interest. While returning to the starting point of the trail he kindly checked in on returning hikers and stopped to give directions to a family who had gotten turned around looking for the exit.
The tour scenery was fantastic. Whether you are new to Sedona, or an Arizona native like me, the view of the red rocks never ceases to amaze and delight. On our tour we also saw various lizards, a rabbit, a coopers hawk, and a few squirrels. Definitely bring your camera, though I would caution there is a lot of dust so a protective case or proper cleaning equipment is highly recommended! The Van Deren cabin is an interesting historical site that provides a glimpse into the lives of the western pioneers.
The official Jeep tour operators drive slowly and in deference to the health and preservation of the various trails they ride, being good stewards of land. Overall this was an extremely enjoyable experience that I would highly recommend. Bring lots of water and your sunscreen to make your experience more enjoyable.
When booking your tour be sure to ask for Big Bob,...

If you're looking for an unforgettable adventure in Sedona, look no further than Red Rock Western Jeep Tours. My recent private tour of Soldiers Pass was an experience filled with excitement, stunning views, and excellent narration.
The Ride: First and foremost, be prepared for a bumpy ride. Once you enter the park, the terrain gets quite rugged. But don't let that deter you; the bumps and jolts are part of the fun and add to the authenticity of the off-road adventure.
The Experience: The tour lasts about 1 1/2 hours, giving you plenty of time to soak in the breathtaking scenery and marvel at the natural beauty of Sedona. The jaw-dropping views are simply spectacular, offering a unique perspective of the red rock formations and the surrounding landscape.
What to Bring: To ensure a comfortable experience, make sure to bring a large hat, sunscreen, and plenty of hydration. The sun can be intense, and you'll want to stay protected and hydrated throughout the tour.
The Guide: Our guide, Brad, truly made the experience exceptional. His knowledge and enthusiasm brought the tour to life, providing fascinating insights and entertaining commentary along the way. His expertise and passion for the area were evident, and he made sure everyone had a fantastic time.
In conclusion, Red Rock Western Jeep Tours offers a thrilling and memorable way to explore Sedona's stunning landscapes. Despite the bumpy ride, the experience is well worth it. Sit back, hold on tight, and enjoy the narrated journey through one of the most beautiful places in Arizona. Highly recommended for anyone...

From start to finish, the entire team made us feel welcome — seriously, every single person we interacted with was warm, friendly, and excited to help make our experience special.
When I called to book, I let them know I was planning to propose to my girlfriend, and they immediately jumped on board to help make it magical. They paired us with Harry as our guide, and let me tell you — Harry is the best of the best. Charismatic, funny, and incredibly knowledgeable, he shared fascinating insights about Sedona’s geology and history while keeping the whole vibe light and fun.
But beyond being a top-tier guide, Harry played a huge role in making the proposal moment absolutely perfect. He was in on the plan, helped set everything up seamlessly, and even took the most amazing photos to capture it all. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide or experience.
We did the Soldiers Pass tour, and it was hands-down awesome — the views, the adventure, the history, everything. If you’re heading to Sedona, I cannot recommend Red Rock Western Jeep Tours enough — and if you’re lucky enough to get Harry as your guide, you’re in for an...
