Store is located in a coveted downtown location but I don’t think the space is used to its full potential. The corner windows marked at a busy intersection would be a great place for a living/dining room holiday display with more of Anthropologies Living line. Instead it seemed like afterthought merchandise out of sight to employees and probably a good corner for theft (no wonder employees follow you around the store). Available clothing options were sparsely scattered around the store which made for a back and forth shopping pattern. If this store is supposed to be more clothing than living I would suggest more inclusive sizing and bring in more of the dresses Anthropologie is known for. What about an area where you could see, feel or even try on the latest Beholden wedding gowns before ordering, or find the seasonal party dress you’ve only seen online? Anthropologie is a premium brand for the Spokane demographic and just a little more merchandise or another desired Anthropologie line in this space would elevate the...
Read moreThis store has a really dark vibe.maybe because they use slave labor to make the extremely expensive items?was shopping around because we just got paid on Thursday August 12 at about 7pm and as soon as we came in the one lady who was not working the counter was immediately rude to me and followed us around constantly. I was not comfortable enough to shop long enough to buy anything besides a face mask.the cashier was sweet. Just remember, you don’t know what kind of people have money to spend.I honestly think my husband’s tattoos made them stereotype us. This store charges prices that locally made and with ethical morals charge, yet they use the worst sweatshops and if you try to look into this corporation they don’t disclose anything. They don’t even say where the items are made on the website. If you care about other humans and the planet...
Read moreI have shopped at this location many times, often to make returns or exchanges from online purchases. The staff are consistently very kind, helpful, attentive, intelligent, patient, and excited about beautiful design. The displays are lovely, and they change regularly so it is fun to come in and see what is new. So glad Spokane has an Anthropologie. The artists who design the products, as well as store interior/displays, for this company are the best in the business. The age appeal is steady for anyone from 1 to 100. The price tags on some items can seem double what they’re worth, but not always; for the items I have fallen in love with and purchased they have been treasures I could not have found anywhere else. It is without question my...
