Parasail Joe's — Attraction in Town of Lake George

Terrible experience today as a customer for the first time in my life, I have never reviewed nor rated any business but this terrible experience has made me write this. I have set up parasailing reservation for a party of 4 people at 1:30 and we were asked to reach the place by 1:15. However after waiting for 45 minutes we were told the boat has issues and we have to wait for 45 minutes. Finally after an hour they rushed us into a small boat and keep t circling us for 45 minutes. When I asked the captain, he said he was waiting for the speed boat to come and he has no idea why the speed boat has not arrived. After a 45 minute circling around, I finally gave up and asked the captain to take us back.

When we landed, we met the owner of the Joes Parasailing and tried to explain our frustration and in return he made obscene, nasty and terrible guestures against our family. It was a shocking exp with this rude blond headed guy's working here, very rude and unprofessionaerience and we reported this to the sheriff and are going to file a lawsuit on this parasailing company. I have lost 3 to 4 hours of my precious time due to this issue and felt terrible about the whole experience and also insulted . I will see them in the civil court. The BEST People. We are locals. We wanted to have an amazing experience as a family. Our daughter is an accomplished swimmer and a lover of roller coasters. She is also autistic. We felt that she would really love parasailing but, with her autism comes a lot of uncertainty about how she will react to various things. I share that to demonstrate how much work we put in researching all of this and particularly which business we would feel comfortable entrusting this experience to. I am so happy to say that we chose right with Parasail Joes. We went last Saturday. They were absolutely the most professional and friendly business. Communication from time of booking through end of ride was top notch. As a Mother, I started to second guess what I was doing when we arrived (reality set in) but, before I could even think to barrage the crew with questions - they answered them all. I was completely at ease. The crew was so friendly, personable, helpful and professional. We felt completely safe and had exactly what we wanted - a beautiful experience as a family. Parasail Joe’s was the best choice for our first time parasailing. They didn’t try to nickel and dime you for every little thing. Everything was easy and stress free. One flat fee which was nice. The captain of the boat and the instructor were very helpful and detailed on what to do that it eased any worries I had. They also let us use a waterproof phone case that went over your neck so you could take your own video and photos while up in the air. Everyone got the same time in the air and the same path. We were allowed to bring our backpack on with us in case you were wondering. They also had a plastic drawer storage for loose or important personal items.
