Lush Cosmetics Tyson Center — Attraction in Tysons

I recently visited Lush Cosmetics and had the pleasure of being assisted by Jerry, who went above and beyond to make my shopping experience exceptional. Her friendly and attentive demeanor made me feel welcomed right away. Jerry's knowledge about the products was truly impressive, as she patiently answered all my questions and provided detailed explanations.

When I inquired about a specific product and expressed my interest in trying it out, Jerry kindly informed me that they were out of samples. However, she surprised me by offering a full-size product free of charge instead! I was absolutely amazed by her generosity and the lengths she went to ensure customer satisfaction.

Jerry's exceptional customer service skills, along with her genuine kindness and willingness to help, made my time at Lush Cosmetics truly memorable. Her commitment to providing a delightful experience sets a remarkable example for all customer service professionals. Lovely store with nice displays, stocked up shelves, clean demo bowls and tidy store. Upon walking inside the store you are immediately greeted with a warm smile, very helpful staff without being pushy nor feeling like you've been followed. I hadn't been in a lush store since I left London 10 years ago and passed by this branch by coincidence which also happens to be the largest store in North America said the cashier staff. There were so many new products, and a staff did a bath bomb demo which I happily purchased.

Only 2 things which bothered me was: (1) cashier staff not closing my individually bagged bath bombs (5 items, paid 50$), yes I declined a bag because I already had one (save the planet) but at least would have been nice to "close" the flap with a lush sticker for all my bath bombs?... (2) I wish the 2 staff I spoke to would have had better product training and be more knowledgeable about the products they have. At multiple instances, they kept looking at the ingredients list on the back of the display names which I can easily do myself without needing assistance.

Lush products are top quality, and I have ALWAYS had a great shopping experience at the Tyson's location. The staff are all friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate, which creates a warm and friendly environment within the store. Deige in particular has helped me multiple times over the past few years to find the perfect gift for a friend, or to find a product that will combat any skin/hair condition I might be dealing with. There are now multiple products I use exclusively, including Mask of Magnaminty, the lip scrubs, and soon the shampoo bars!

Lush's corporate philosophy and practices are nothing to balk at. From their supply chain, packaging, and customer engagement, they exercise social and environmental responsibility every step of the way. They even have a container take back program for products that aren't package free. (They're initiatives really worth researching.)
