Canyon Coaster Adventure Park — Attraction in Williams

The alpine coaster was a BLAST. $20 is a little much but I'm happy to pay it. HOWEVER... the snow tubing was pretty awful. $45 to go up and down a hill a few times before it gets boring. The staff was essentially the fun police, yelling at us for every little thing even though NONE of the things they yelled at us for had signs posted telling us not to do it. For example, walking up to the lift is extremely slippery snow and ice and it goes downhill, so instead of walking and risking slipping, we just rode our tubes. Apparently that's against the rules, you HAVE to walk downhill on the slippery ice even though there's no signs posted telling us otherwise. Similarly, when I got on the lift with my 4 year old son, I was just pulling my son in the tube because he's shaky on his feet getting on the uphill moving walkway. We had gone up at least 3 or 4 times doing that with no one telling us we couldn't. Then one lady yelled at us on our 5th time up and told me my son had to get out of the tube and stand. Again, no signs that say we can't do that. Also at the top before you actually go down the hill, the staff is so flustered. One guy was ignoring all of us while he was talking on his cell phone trying to order something. So we took it upon ourselves to figure out when it was okay to go down. Then eventually the guy got off his phone and yelled at us for going down the wrong slope with 3 people. Again, none of the slopes have instructions on who can go down what one. It's chaotic and there's no organization.

FINALLY, the worst part is on the way out, the entire walkway was covered in thick ice and of course it was downhill. I was wearing boots with plenty of traction, but I still fell. I fell so hard that my butt cracked the ice I landed on. I'm a small person so I had to really land with a lot of force. I'm in a lot of physical discomfort now from that fall. I know I signed a waiver, but making everyone walk in and out on a hill covered in thick ice just feels like reckless endangerment.

Also the restaurant is super expensive, so we went somewhere else for lunch.

I would go on the coaster again, but I will never do the tubing again. MAYBE I would reconsider it if the price was slashed in half, but that'll...

My family and I had a TERRIBLE experience here at Canyon Coaster Adventure Park. We were in the area so we decided to go snow tubing instead of our initial plan due to inclement weather on the roads (we called canyon coaster PRIOR to see if they were open and right off the bat they had an attitude). We arrived, signed a waiver then purchased our tickets. We were met with attitude AGAIN throughout this entire process from all employees (like I’m sorry you had to do your job) anyway, once we completed all the paperwork/ payment we got our tube and made it to the top of the hill to find MORE employees with attitude. Come to find out from the first go down the hill it was not slidable and then the employees was like “yeah you can’t really slide”…. REALLY?? You don’t say! You know when it would have been helpful to know this, IT WOULD HAVE BEEN NICE TO KNOW THIS WHEN WE CALLED PRIOR TO COMING OR EVEN AT THE FRONT DOOR BEFORE I PAID OVER $300. You guys want to give us attitude this whole time and take my money and proceed to tell us it’s not slidable. WHAT A SCAM! A decent company would let customers know what conditions the slide is BEFORE spending money on these OVERPRICED tickets. Instead they decided to take advantage of us and give us a bad experience. Shame. A few of us went inside the facility to rest and then go back up the hill to tube some more and the employees got mad because we wanted to keep sliding… LIKE OKAY??? WE PAID FOR IT, SO DO YOUR JOB. It may sound like I’m exaggerating but I kid you not this was the worst experience, normally I would let it go and just enjoy my time but these rude employees did not make it an enjoyable experience (next time tell people the conditions instead of scamming us for our money). The Facility itself is dirty, Food was overpriced and bland, customer service was disgustingly rude and this entire experience was just TERRIBLE. I do NOT recommend...
