No pool that we could find — nor shown on the map. The hot tub had a non-functioning timer for the jets and the room had black marks (don’t think it was mold
) on the wall, drywall that was broken and crumbling, and a non-functional exhaust fan. The bedroom was fine overall, but the toilet had a mismatched seat — the toilet was oval but the seat was round. No big deal, but it seems indicative of the level of care and attention being paid to the property. In the morning the OJ at breakfast was either broken or set up incorrectly — it was very watered down. There were also no spoons for cereal. The Wi-Fi seems to be served only from the office, so the further your room the less useful it becomes. This is not an expensive property, but even at the price being charged (we paid $95 before / $130 after tax for a double queen) the property feels like it’s not being managed well. I would consider a different property if you’re looking for a budget travel option. There are many options in the Williams area.

I wasn’t expecting the Plaza, but this was beyond bad. First, they tried to charge us $50/night/pet instead of the $15/night/pet they quoted us when we booked. Then my husband handed him $60 cash to pay the pet fee and they still charged his credit card! We finally get up to our room and the key cards don’t work. We go back downstairs and get new key cards. They don’t work either. Front desk guy comes upstairs and tries a bunch of cards and finally finds the right ones. We walk in and there is a black bra on the bed along with a bunch of other personal items from the guests that were already occupying that room. Oops! So he brings us to a room downstairs where the refrigerator didn’t work and the smoke alarm had its guts ripped out. The next morning, our cards don’t work again. Oops! Guy only put us in for one night. So the cleaning lady would’ve walked in on us and/or our dogs had we not noticed the problem first. What an absolute nightmare!

It's cheap for a reason!!! If you don't mind staying in a very dated, unclean room then this is the place for you. Mould on windows, shower fittings old and dirty (honestly they only need a little scrub with a toothbrush and it would make a difference). The shower was tiny - I've seen bigger ones in RVs! Oh and if someone in the hotel decides to turn on their shower when you're halfway through yours you get blasted by water as cold as the Arctic! Mattress wasn't too bad which was a plus. Light hanging on the wall almost fell off. And breakfast - well if you want a snack then you'd be happy! Only seating for 12 people so at 8am peak breakfast time there was nowhere to sit and all that was available was cereal and toast. The pancake machine wasn't working. No eggs, bacon, bagels, muffins or anything. We didn't bother except for a cup of hot chocolate. My advice is to pay a little bit more and go somewhere else!!

Edit: I got an email after contacting corporate and they said I damaged a table, smoked in the room and caused chaos when I arrived and disturbed other guests along with me creating a disturbance with loud noise in my room that guests complained about. OMG these people are outright LIARS. I traveled solo and I stay to myself. I had one conversation with another guest as we admired his car. There wasn’t even a table in the room. These people are nothing but LIARS TOO. They stole $250 with these lies.

ZERO stars. Hit last 15 miles of heavy rain and 3 miles of hail on my motorcycle after riding 6 hrs. Bags strapped to bike. Check-in is at 3:00. Arrived minutes later. Rang bell. Waited. Nothing. Glanced around lobby to find a sign on a back counter with phone number (not at front counter). Called. Was told 5 minutes; getting food (male voice). Another couple arrived to check in. (Major car show in town) 12 minutes later, called again. Male voice
be a few minutes. Meanwhile it’s pouring rain on my bags are sitting ducks. I strapped from bike to carry them to empty lobby. Female arrives in car. And when shared my experience and it’s posted that 3:00 is check-in, out of her mouth came, “It was only 10 minutes”. THEN THEY CHARGED MY CARD FOR A $250 SMOKING FEE AND I HAVEN'T SMOKED IN OVER 12 YEARS. Was on hold 19 minutes while he was ‘checking’ why there was a charge and other than caller ID, he didn’t have my name; had to hang up. Also learned they tried to charge my Discover card that I used to secure the reservation, twice. Discover rejected both. Called Wyndham Corporate and they confirmed it was the smoking fee and said they can’t help because each is ‘independently owned and operated’, although they are their brand and are co-signing this nonsense because they could care less about brand standards and holding franchisees accountable for service and quality of the rooms. My shower handle was stripped and it was a tedious method to get water at a temperature that was safe and not burn me. Now they won’t answer the phone. There are MANY other options to stay in Williams AZ. Don’t choose this place. Be very careful if you do and make sure you have them to your room for inspection when you leave. They...

As soon as we arrived I was pleased with how nice & pleasant the owner was; the property is fairly small with not too many rooms, which makes the trip from your car to the room very short and the feel of the property as a whole, somewhat intimate; the indoor Jacuzzi was a big surprise.

Our room stood alone-nice because there were no rooms to either side, but not so nice that it is directly above the Jacuzzi and anytime it's on, you can hear it buzzing the room and quite loudly :-( after peeking into a few of the other rooms, I was happy that our room had a newer, flat screen HDTV with HDMI ports, whereas other rooms had older, tube TVs, HOWEVER, I also noticed that other rooms had a table (much needed for eating in the room) whereas our room DID NOT have a table.. We were forced to eat sitting on the edge of the bed, with our knees squeezed closed to support a paper plate-this was NOT cool and I’m docking major points over this one! Other than that, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable!

This property is located at the end of small but sweet Williams, AZ, old town/downtown that is.. We stayed over Memorial Day Weekend and after we checked out, we got to enjoy the town’s MDW Parade that came marching down the street, right in front of the hotel.

For visiting the Grand Canyon, this property is located 54 miles away! This means it’s a 45-60 min drive EACH WAY/90-120 min ROUND TRIP! So for the price-it’s cool, but if you value your time whatsoever, opting for lodging in Tusayan, AZ is a MUCH BETTER option, as it is just 5 min away from the South Entrance of the Grand Canyon. Not to mention that driving back at night time is no fun if you’ve had a long & tiresome day hiking the canyon, and now you have to drive back cautiously because the roads are surrounded by deer just waiting to dart across the road and ruin...

So I checked into this place (travelodge)with my family today, we did not look closely; well now we are wishing we did, for the price we paid for this place. We will never be back. Here are the reasons: The fridge doesn't work, had to throw most of our food out. We left for a day out on the town and came back to the spoiled dairy items. We informed management and was given an empty red cooler told "there is an ice machine, fill it up down stairs" the ice machine is across the property. Low and behold as we unpacked my sister finds some soiled and dirty underwear from a previous occupant. They were in the crevices of the pull out couch. It doesn't end there; let's continue: as my godson looked for his shoes with a flashlight he found a ton of trash left under my bed. Then later that night, as I was getting into bed I pulled back the covers I discovered blood stained sheets. I then called management for turn down services to replace the sheets, I was told to wait because she had a guest checking in. 20 mins later she showed up to my room. I handed the stained sheets over; with no help to remake the bed. The sheets were SURPRISINGLY CLEAN. thankfully. I normally dont say anything since I'm in the industry (I hate compainers). But, It got worse, hence this post.. I swear I never do this but it was terrible. Under my Godsons bed he found a used sleep mask. It's obvious they did not clean this room, I'm so grossed out, it is nasty. Let's also just note: I just paid for a uncleaned suite at tourists prices. I'm upset was given a unclean subpar room. Not to mention: I was given child sized towels to dry my body and they were scratchy. This place...
