I would have given this place a 5 star as the food was amazing! The opening shift was great! I came in for the first time as we were in town for the night for new years with my family and a friend’s family so based on the reviews we ate here and had a couple drinks. We probably dropped 400 there in less than two hours with food and drinks for a party of nine, we tipped well, we get boxes to go and hang our dollar bills and pack up and head out, as we walk out and are about 100 feet a way a waitress comes running out after us saying excuse me excuse me. I turn around and say yes, she says that ours, I said what is yours she says the picture he is holding pointing at my friends husband, I tell her no it isn’t we bought it at the bar from your bar tender for 60$ as priced and she said oh well a customer meaning a local said u took it off the wall, yes we did after it was paid for, not mention a couple local boys followed her out to assist I am assuming. But the moral is that she never even asked the bar tender nor us if this was paid for she just assumed we stole it after spending all that money there. Pretty rowdy bar atmosphere. No one greeted us upon arrival and didn’t know where to go,a customer directed us to go to bar to order food and drinks. Looked like there was only 1 server and bartender for whole place. Ordered clam chowder which was “mush” no taste. Then ordered steak/ rib combo and baked potato. Steak gritty full of fat and ribs over cooked. Even the corn was terrible!! Water tasted terrible! Table was dirty!’ Very disappointed since we were hungry after a day out! This place was recommended by some locals. We were only in town for the day and was not sure where to eat. We are SO glad we went there. The best ribs I have ever eaten. My 9 year old daughter ate all of her steak and part of mine, saying it was so good she just could not get enough of it. The steaks and ribs were cooked perfectly and while their homemade steak sauce was good, the steak was so tasty, it didn't need any added sauce. We got their Tuesday rib and steak special. For what we ordered the price was shocking reasonable. In another city our meal would have cost double or more.
